I think what makes the silence so amazing, is that at one point time they were filled with laughter, smiles, and in some cases at an abandoned hospital crying! And now that’s all gone!
Dude, I'm really enjoying your videos. The locations are awesome, but your videography and editing skills really make everything come together even more nicely. Greetings from a fellow explorer in Texas. 🤠👍🏼
Hey Jason, Thank you for this amazing video.....They are truly peaceful places some of which I have been to... Keep healthy and safe on your adventures!
I realise that you are in RI, but I have a suggestion for you. It is Floyd Bennett Field in NYC-- a mostly abandoned airport from the 1920s. There are a few abandoned buildings around the property, and I've checked them out. Just across the nearby bridge is Fort Tilden, which has a cool beach, abandoned 16in. gun emplacements, and a really neat and easily accessible fort auto repair shop. It may be a schlep for you, but it is a really scenic destination.
Thanks, Jason! I loved every bit of that, I live in Central MA, so many fun historical places to explore. I was amazed at the mansion being overcome by nature. How did you even discover it? I used to love to visit Westboro State Hospital when it was free to roam. Never went inside, only outside and had taken so many pictures of the seasons but somehow they have been lost, anyway. Keep up the videos, they truly are fascinating.
I've been to or know about a few of these. Used to go to the Enchanted forest right after it opened. And the WW2 site used to go explore it in the 80s while in high school.
some of these places look like places where paranormal shows visit!! wondering if you ever had any strange or weird things happen while visiting these great places?? thx from palm springs calif

There is a military place or experiment in Mid MA. It looks like Buck Roger stuff. Many tubes. Russia has the structure and it is directed energy weapon. Taking planes or missals. Russia fired it once but drained over half the electricity in all of Russia. The MA place has been guarded. But I want to visit it. I saw it on a video where they showed you it but would not give directions.
That quiet peacefulness is one of the things I love most about exploring. Especially when it's just me and my camera.
Same here!

Silence is uncomfortable for most people, but this is a really excellent perspective on the quiet beauty of it.

I can't believe my family never visited the Enchanted Forest! It was open during my childhood years.. does anyone remember what year they closed?
2005, I remember visiting it briefly after closing to unload a ride that I had salvaged from another park that had closed in NC earlier that year.
I see you visited Rossi Farm on Prudence Island, Is there a video yet?

Love it but I am sad, I do not understand what you talk , Can you add closed caption please? I am deaf.. Thank you
Closed captioning is always helpful 🌞
Hey Brian thanks for bringing that up. I just built out captions for this video so you can toggle them on/off to read what I'm saying.
Super cool of you Jason
Hopefully it doesn't get noisy!

...and then there's that moment you hear a huge bang or people talking ☹
