Your video looks so relaxing! I live in Seattle and want to make sure you're camping safely in Mt. Rainier. There's a lot of bears in the area (grizzly and black) so definitely recommend storing your food in bear proof canisters and cooking separately from where you sleep. :)
Thanks for the tip! I usually pack all food and trash in the car or trailer and wipe down food surfaces before sleeping. But you're definitely right that it's risky to sleep next to where you dine. Thanks for watching!
I am a big fan of anything Snow Peak, I really like all your detailed videos. I would like to know where you got the 2 water tanks from, one blue and one gray. Thank you
Great video. The Land Nest looks sweet. Would you feel comfortable using your SP firepit toward the edge of the setup? Looks too close to the tent. I wonder if you could configure your tarp longwise from the tent and sacrifice some dryness to have the firepit at the other end. That grill looks cool, as well. Hope to see more of it in future videos. The steak gave me inspiration for my next trip meal!
I have used the SP firepit towards the edge of the Hexa Tarp Pro Large. It's great for rainy days, but I don't recommend it for most people. I haven't had any fire sparks fly that makes a hole in my tarp yet but my friend has (maybe he used more towards the middle). It's risky to use it under a tarp without the fire resistant Takibi inner tarp sheet. However, if you are going to use it, use it with the Floga and keep the fire less than a 6 inches from the highest point of the Floga and you will greatly reduce your chance of damaging your tarp! Good luck and thanks for watching!
Hi Sir Camelot, love your videos and all the watering food, can I inquire where you got the side grill, I would like to buy one, but I couldn't find it any where. Any suggestion/sights I could review purchase? thank you.

I notice a lot of people with snow peak kitchens cooking right outside their tents which i was taught not to do to avoid animals smelling the food where you sleep. Do you do anything special at night before going to bed? Great videos btw.
What a coincident that you mention this as I was reading a discussion about keeping things bear safe! What I don't show is that I pack everything away in the car or trailer before going to bed. This includes all food, storage that has food such as cooler and fridge, and of course utensils! I'm not sure how other people do it. But Snow Peak is a Japanese company so maybe they don't have bears in Japan for Japanese people to be worried about? ha ha! I'm kidding!
