I got one of these for christmas as a kid, my mom couldn't afford to get me a playstation, but she tried her best to make me happy, seeing this unboxing reminds me how much sacrifices my mother made for me to get where i am today, where I can buy as many playstations as i want.

@@jul1us.01 yes. This and another version which was basically a controler that connected directly to the tv(the controler itself was the console). This was a good console to pass time, and it was way cheaper than a nes/snes or nintendo 64. And since it is a 3rd world country, nintendo probably had no idea of those games at the time. So they were pirated versions of the original games, no bootlegs or hacks. It was the exact same game as the original.(only nintendo games, no sega)

i love the amount of history in the console itself. you can almost feel how much it was loved, even if it was a fake

I think my parents bought me one of these when I was still a kid. This was my first step as a gamer hahaha. Playing mario and all those classical gems. I remember my mom playing magic jewelry and she was so good with it.

I have good memories about this one. When I was a kid, I wanted Playstation so bad. At that time my dad didn't have enough money to buy that. So... One day, he went home from work, and he bought this console.
I thought that it was real PS. But even finally I realized that it wasn't, It didn't make me disappointed at all.
I just realize that my dad had tried to please me. And sometimes he played with me. 🙂
I love this console. It holds many good memories.

Holy shit, this is the exact same story for me! I knew what a PS1 was after playing Gran Turismo for a bit in my uncle's house, but for some reason I wasn't disapponted too when I ended up getting this.

I got this back in 1998 when I could not afford the Play Station with the coins in my piggy bank. I was stuck with this until I aced my finals in elementary school and proved to my parents that I was worthy for the real thing. It sure brought back memories.

The place where I grew up these things are nothing but pure luxury . I still remember a friend of mine in my neighbourhood bought one of these consoles and it had only one game which was somewhat a replica of contra and we all used to go to his house and wait for our turns to play ... even now people can't afford Playstation Xbox or other gaming consoles .
