Diamond_ Divaa She's acting like she just got in a huge argument with her man or maybe threw up or something right before this interview and maybe she wasn't feeling well. Her vibe was way off, and she definitely didn't give the interviewer very much to work with. If this is how she is all the time, I don't think she's going to go very far in her career. She's way too closed off to be doing press. People are just going to end up not liking her personality. I feel like in the beginning, the interviewer looked a little confused and taken aback at Summer's lack of enthusiasm, like she was afraid she might've said something wrong, she was giving her a look like "is everything okay? Did I do something?"

4 years later and Summer Walker is one of the tops in the industry. Her music stays on repeat for me.
She’s a really good interviewer. She asks good questions and she knows how to draw and pull from the person she’s talking to.

I have really bad anxiety & it makes me happy knowing she has anxiety but can still step out of her comfort zone & accomplish what she really wants to do in life. It actually motivates me a lot
It seems like she didn't step out of her comfort zone too much though. She likes writing and doesn't care about pitching her songs and performing. This is the only interview I've seen from her and she's not really pushing herself tbh.
kokolatte825 I think it depends on your perception really. One interview can be a huge step to very introverted souls. Summer Walker has admitted that she loves being alone and doesn’t really deal with anyone. Can you imagine her being in the process of also making music and working with producers etc? She’s also touring now too. Had a few more interviews. She’s been mentioning that she wants a break from all the work she’s doing. Where’s that comfort zone again? Lol

The host is so honestly empathic with the artist and is such an impressive source of positive energy, I can't stop watching. The emotional impact and reaction of the host all the time is so embracing including a wondeful type of humor. Not only a uncredibly beautiful looking face, but rather more because of the inner beauty shining thru her. Rarely so impressed by a person I don't know. Thumbs up for this host. Surely a big win for the show.

Just curious, are you a musician/singer/artist? I'm a musician and I've noticed a lot of musicians/singers/artists are introverted. The strange thing is I feel more comfortable playing in front of people vs.talking.

My social anxiety is connected to my lack of confidence, I would talk and if I stumble on a word or say something dumb... it's a snowball effect from there, heart start to race, short breathing and extreme situations sweating. Public speaking and group conversations is crippling to me! I make good money and look above average but that doesnt matter, social anxiety is from within...
VelloGuWopMane Social anxiety develops due to childhood trauma/rejection. When a highly sensitive person is not reassured as a child they develop social anxiety. Love and light to you ❤️

Y'all have to understand someone with social anxiety struggles with opening up and talking to people. Considering the fact she has that much social anxiety, I think she did pretty well. She is so chill and relaxed.
Because RESPECT and TRUST is EVERYTHING to people with anxiety and the host gained Summers respect and trust throughout the interview and she made summer feel more and more comfortable enough to open up to her .

You can tell that summer getting more comfortable talking to her as the interview goes on. I can relate to that because as someone who has social anxiety all you really want is to feel welcomed and not made to feel like you’re an outcast. She didn’t treat her funny or make it awkward just because she’s anxious or nervous in the situation which most people make the mistake of doing. She just adapted to her comfortability which shows her skill.

I love her low-key energy and her music. I love how she's doing her thing regardless of the social anxiety. She is inspiring. I know a lot of people don't get it. It's a different way of looking at the world I guess, we're all different; that's what I'm waiting for more people to wrap their heads around. Quiet low-key people get a bad rap and it's not fair to always have to be defending oneself against aggressors(some are really sneaky); people like her and me get picked on a lot. People tend to think quiet people are weak and it's not true.
