ABOUT US
We provide education to become a successful CG Artist. We want to teach you everything we have learned along the way, to make your journey less painful and more fun. Learn 3D With CRNT DESIGNERS on our TH-cam Channel For Educative Blender Tutorials.
My blender tutorials are mostly base on blender hard surface modeling for film production. Hence I use subdivision modeling method rather than polygon modeling. These 3d modeling tutorials will help you to improve your 3d modeling skill and workflow. I create blender beginners tutorial as well as Intermediate level tutorials. This blender modeling guide will teach you right approach to 3d assets. These blender hard surface modeling hacks can save you time while creating 3d assets. I hope you like these tutorials and you are getting some knowledge from them.
Thank You 🙂

1st thing you need to understand, You can’t remove the pole completely. You can change its position. Now removing or moving poles to different locations from existing positions required adding or removing edge loops. And it changes the density of topology. So better is to plan required poles in advance. You should try to move poles to flat areas, less visible areas. Here in the sphere case there is not a flat area but in the plane case there is the flat area. Hence I can't change the position of the pole efficiently in the sphere case. I have explained these points in a video. You need to watch the video carefully.
Yes u have erased the Pole, but u ve also introduced irregular topological density. Adjusting the edge loops until they have no pinching in the sub d result, can take a huge effort at the end on complex surfaces
It’s all well and good isolating a small area to fix a local ‘problem’ and improve topology but you’ve added more edges which makes adds problems and makes the model more complex and irregular. Would be good to see how these tips could be useful in context rather than a small isolated area.
just terminate the edge loop somewhere? that way minimal topology is added.
@@cor9498 That easy, is it? Just terminate the edge loop? Possibly by creating a new pole, amirite? Brilliant.
@@filipstamate1564 depends on use case, localized topology is the cleaner option of course. with respect to the original comment, there are dozens of videos on topology fundamentals and retopologizing.
Totally agree !!! Afterwards, he's not wrong to say that either, to solve part of the problem it's very good, but not to completely rebuild it.
I taught myself topology by accident, by modeling out of large cubes first. This automatically creates the proper poles in the corners. Then I loop cut the cubes into smaller divisions and smoothed out the shape.
Your Basics are very clear. Love your videos. Just shifted to Blender a few months ago. Great help. Thank you!
It is easy to understand, but having explained a practical use defines its usefulness.
This IS A VERRRY VERY GOOD TUTORIAL!!
very profesional, great job! and thank you !!
It's definitely cool to see Channel growth as well as teaching g growth coming from you
great tricks. love it
Thank you
Apparently 3d artists are wired differently-moving poles around like this totally confuses me. It’s like math to my brain.
Amazing ty!
nice work
0:41 A triangle fan on your cylinder object is still bad, even if it is a flat surface. It will slow down performance.
Edging my pole very hard to this video
Nice.. Hey can you do car topology ?
ctrl + just zooms in
Might need to change the shortcut
Go to Select -> Select More -> Right-click the button -> Change Shortcut -> Press Ctrl and + at the same time
they should also know grammar
Useless video. To solve the pole make a new pole 😂
orrrr... just make your retopology correct at the start
