I'm not naive enough to think you might actually see wearable clothes at a couture fashion show, but the only artistic statement I get is that Mr. Owens saw the Dune movie at the theater and liked it... a lot! Everybody on Arakis will be wearing this next year.

okay. Dune 3 costumes
the show was great! Like a Roman or Egyptian Imperial Parade. the clothes, no. I noticed about a dozen relevant new designs. everything looked the same, except the models, which was the biggest problem. too tall, too short , too fat, too thin, too many colour variations. the short ones with the massive breasts took us out of the fantasy. models are all the same size, height and level of attractiveness are done for a reason. it keeps the fantasy going and tells a story, and they can all be made up to look similar. the final walk should have just been the one outfit from each group on the best models. im watching it as home and am bored of the second walk. imagine how bored the audience would have been. Great show for Aida the opera, but to showcase and sell fashion, missed the mark. brings to mind the final Vuiton show by mark jacobs where the special guest model was kate moss. the final walk looked dumb as it was runway model after model after model after model 6f tall plus with kate in the middle at 5 foot six. ruined the fantasy.
