- Every single Monkey News that was featured on XFM, in order.
Monkey News was a regular feature where Karl would tell Ricky and Steve about a story he had read (which were usually from a spurious website or a news article that he had embellished or not read properly) about a monkey doing something unusual or human-like.
The stories were almost always completely ridiculous and impossible, making Ricky either explode with laughter or with anger at the sheer stupidity of the story that Karl was telling, and at Karl for being foolish enough to accept the story as true.

The funny thing about this is half of these are real and half of them are fake. Like the railway monkey was actually real.

The editing of this is priceless. So many end with Ricky screaming "That's it! No more Monkey News" then after a beat you hear Karl saying "Got some Monkey News here an' that" and we're off!

Karl has told almost all of these stories on The Ricky Gervais show yet they still, apparently, laugh at it and act as though it's new to them.
Makes one question the legitimacy.

+Captain Crazy Not really, it's more likely that Ricky and Steve don't really remember them, or hearing them again is just as funny as the first time due to the impossibility of the stories.
Also, he hasn't told "almost all of them" on the podcasts; the only one I see that was retold was the one about the monkey who lived at home with a zookeeper, smoked, drank tea and brandy, and then "tried it on" with the zookeeper's wife.
Just because one story was retold years later on the podcasts doesn't automatically mean that you should question the legitimacy of everything. It's more likely that Karl didn't remember telling the story, or he just wanted to tell it again because he liked it, and also the second time round Karl added further embellishments to the story.
