Pocas cosas podemos decir de Dennis, uno de los iconos de la batería de todos los tiempos, uno de los pocos que han escrito la historia de nuestro instrumento, uno de los sueños de TamTam hecho realidad.
Pero sobre todo lo mejor, es que vuelve a estar bien, y así lo demostró en nuestro festival. Gracias por todo maestro.

Few things can be said about Dennis, one of the drummer icons of all times, one of the few who have written the history of our instrument, one of the TamTam dream comes true.
Best of all, he is fine again, as was shown in our festival. Thank you for all, Master.
Chambers play only Pearl Drumns, Zildjian Cymbals, Evans Drumheads and Zildjian Drumsticks.

Only Dennis Chambers can drop a stick and make it part of the solo/performance and then break out into rounds of 50. caliber bursts of what sounds like an A-10 Warthog cannon between snare, tom, cymbals and bass drum. Stunning.
He is genius of drums..we love him so much...
Great video of one of the greats. Terrific Miles T shirt too. Kit is unusual small kick drum and that elevated big Tom. Man does he play it... DO NOT MISS THE LAST MINUTE. Killer.

I saw Dennis in a small club in Minneapolis. After the show, he came up to the bar and was just sitting there while the people were leaving. Girlfriend kept telling me 'go up there, he's not talking to anybody. go and talk to him'.
I couldn't do it. I was 16 when I first heard him. At this moment, I was 43. I was scared shitless. I don't regret it. So I didn't touch the hand of God. Most of us don't.

Man, that had to be frustrating to have a translator. Hard to get a flow going. He did a great job though getting his point across. For future drum hosts: show the translation on a screen behind the artist. Dennis has a solo album called "Planet Earth" which is absolutely wonderful. One of my all time favorites among any artist or genre actually.

Carter Beauford does that regularly, i watched him from the front row pop a bubble so huge he had gumface and managed to clear it off without missing a beat

I love listening to Dennis play along music but I don't really enjoy his solo stuff unfortunately. He's a legend and a beast anyway.

He may be one of the best drummers to ever walk the planet... What Dennis doesn't get is this...Chris Coleman has 1.3M views on one of his videos. The music pad has no musical value whatsoever. It's all about him. HE IS PAYING BILLS by playing "drum music" over a bunch of shitty sounds. That's the reality today.
Dennis is still working, Chris Coleman found his niche via Teaching and doing clinics.
Chris Coleman's playing style is the result of studying Dennis though.

TH-cam is a side hustle for Chris. He’s pretty low key about the gigs and tours he does.
I'm sorry to tell y'all this and its gonna hurt some feelings, Chambers was and still is a legend but his time and style was years ago. If he steps up too a man like Chris who's currently in his prime as a man and a player he would walk all over Chambers! You wouldn't even notice he existed on the same stage if he was doing a drum duo against Chris Coleman. It would be a drum massacre, still love ya Chambers but guys like Chris, Lang, Virgil, Royster jr and a few others who are changing and pushing drums too a whole new and advanced level. Out of respect for Chambers the people I've mentioned learned alot from cats like him, he was one of the pioneers of modern drumming!
@@normanwilmoth7404 He doesn't have to step up to anybody. Either has Chris Coleman. They all are individuals. Chambers is a legacy, a legend. And it's no shame not evolving at some point.
