- Jamal Murray notched 26.5 points per game on 50.5/45.3/89.7 shooting splits while also averaging 4.8 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game throughout these playoffs with a usage rate in the 82nd percentile (according to Cleaning the Glass). Murray’s 3 game run of 50-42-50 in the first round marked the first time a player had scored THREE straight 40 point games in a series since Michael Jordan did it in 1993 - Jamal Murray was born in 1997.
Murray and Donovan Mitchell joined Michael Jordan and Allen Iverson as the ONLY other players in the history of the league to have MULTIPLE 50 point games in a single playoff series.
If you combine games 4 and 5 against Utah in the first round, Jamal tallied 92 points on 35-57 shooting (13-23 from three) with 19 rebounds and 15 assists and most importantly ZERO turnovers.
The Canadian sensation also had FOUR 40 point playoff games in this postseason alone. His fourth - in a GAME 7 no less, made him the second youngest player in NBA history to score 40 points in a game 7. The youngest was LeBron James.
There’s not much more to say besides that Murray’s shot making was mesmerizing. He had one of the more memorable and magical playoff runs of recent memory.
Jamal’s stroke is as sweet as they come and this video is focuses on that. Catch and shoots were cut for time.
Everything starts with the brilliance of his balance, inspired by Bruce Lee, the Blue Arrow has a background in martial arts. The footwork that is the very foundation of his game also stems from the studies the kid from Kitchener had in Kung Fu. Jamal is surprisingly strong despite his slight frame and that allows him to dislodge defenders with a bump, which allows him to generate just enough space to get off his jumper. That same strength frees him just enough so he can decided whether he will finish with force or finesse when he flusters defenders with his forays to the rim.

Absolutely love his gamestyle
Jamal Murray has a crazy bag.
Other than Kyrie and Harden, I don’t think any other guards have a bag of moves like him.
It’s very seldom that you see him use the same move twice.
Really really appreciate the slowmo replay and offensive awareness!
he's going to have his break out season 💯
Denver got a bargain by re-signing him early
I saw the shadow of drose n dwade, it is insane that he is a combine of that two
2020 nuggets vs jazz is the next gen 2009 bulls vs celtics
Evin I got a funny one for you man, how about a fringe all-star highlight vid for Andrea Bargnani 😂
He reminds me of Stephen Curry in his early years
Curry never went inside like Mal can
Not at all Murray is much more athletic and physical.
He reminds me of a young AI but way bigger, and a better three point shooter
Can we get some Alex Caruso or bam bubble highlights
Jordanisque
87 overall according to 2k
I think he did just as well as jimmy against the lakers and him and jokic DESTROYED the clippers
@@mekaokafor9243 Nah. Jimmy was crazy on offense AND defense. He was scoring on their best defenders while guarding them too.
@@mekaokafor9243 jimmy was scoring, playmaking, and defending the best player in the world while simultaneously leading his team to two wins while they were injured.
Not the same at all
Ya Hes a great defender, but lebron did still win the chip and won mvp
Yeah but Jamal Murray was TAKING OVER a game with his scoring and playmaking.
I would give
Jimmy 94
