Let's also not forget Jamal Murray had at least 10 assist in his first four games in the finals games which is a first in NBA history. I think Jamal is a good foil to Nikola Jokic because of his aggressiveness to score where Jokic is more conservative and almost reluctant at times. The assist numbers also have only gotten better for Murray and I think it's influenced heavily by Jokic. I'm very impressed by Jamal Murray and even though he wasn't an all-star he was one of the best players in the league and deserves a ton of credit for Denver's chip.
Great points on the scoring and they way they compliment one another. He did to me without a question Murray way better than Tony Parker or Joe dumars who I both seen Murray is more Kobe than them he is the Steph Curry of the mid range and on the line 3
Finally somebody giving Credit to Jamal Murray's contribution on Denver's success, we all know Jokic is the factor for this Championship run, but without Murray if will not be possible, just like you mentioned the last 2 season without Murray, the Nuggets was eliminated twice in the playoffs, but too bad despite of the success of Denver Nuggets the media still talking about Leflop James, even though his team was swept in the West Finals

So you’re telling me Murray averaged 0.2 fewer points and 0.5 fewer assists on better shooting than a run that many ignorant losers call “the best playoff run ever”? Yeah he earned it, he is one damn good player. My big three for Nuggets are Jokic, Murray and Gordon and if they healthy and play like this year, you are looking at a new dynasty coming up in Nuggets.
Ya he really does. My one friend was trying to say "Murray wasn't that good" and i think that's how most casual fans look at him. They're sadly mistaken because Murray is the real deal Holyfield
You could’ve made a case that Jamal deserved that western conference MVP. Lakers had no answer to him. That Murray and Jokic is probably the deadliest combo in the league when healthy
Yah some respect for Murray. This team puts me in mind of the Spurs. Very team oriented but the with 2 elite guys(3 for the spurs). Murray's injuries and media bias have kept him from his credit. Jokic and Murray can run off a few rings if they both stay healthy.
I don’t hate klay Thompson and we can all admit his career is downhill from here since that acl tear.. but Jamal Murray worked his ass off without making any excuses. That’s why he’s so emotional when they won
@@skap_attack yeah, I never understood when Kobe became anything but the 2nd or 3rd greatest player ever. But to hear people BARELY have him in the top 10 is ludicrous.
@@mikehoops87 it’s disgusting. I personally have Kobe on my Mount Rushmore and I always will. If you have somewhere around 5-8 though, I can understand that placement. But “barely” top 10 or outside. Laughable.
@@mikehoops87 Jordan, Kareem, Kobe and Russell are my Mount Rushmore. Likely in that order. Tho my personal eye test (from when I started watching basketball in 1995) is that Kobe is the best that I personally have ever seen. But being able to study and understand what Jordan was in the 80s and early 90s when I was too young to be watching has me convinced in his undisputed GOAT case. Sliding in at my 5 spot is Magic. And I have Duncan just outside looking in. But that 5/6 line is difficult. Duncan is likely one of the 3 greatest defensive players ever and he won the same amount of rings as magic in a more difficult conference and with far less help. So I go back and forth there.
Laker die-hard fan here. LA, born and raised. After we beat the Warriors, my friends were all saying we were going to the Finals. I told them Murray was going to be a problem, and Jokic was getting his. I knew LeBron was about to be exposed when finally facing a good team. The Lakers got an easy path. Had they played for the 7th-8th seed, they see the Nuggets or Suns in the first round. Instead, we played for the play-in, beat the sorry Wolves (who were missing key players), the weak Grizzlies (with Morant hurt), and the Warriors, who never got it together this season and with Klay shooting like he was ready to go on vacation).
Total SPOT on analysis from an LA native. BUT, you’re obviously a real lakers fan, which likely means you’re NOT a Lebron fan. Thus capable of seeing through the lie and propaganda unlike the rest of his delusional Stanbase

Kobe and Shaq wasn't Batman and Robin they were Batman and Superman Same with the Joker and Murray, I'm really happy the Nuggets kept their faith in Murray.
Nice comparison. We could be witnessing a new dynamic duo of Jokic and Murray, just like Shaq and Kobe. Only that we have even better supporting casts of Michael Porter Junior, Aaron Gordon and Kentavious Caldwell Pope.
Out here in Colorado. I don’t hear anybody throwing any shade at Murray whatsoever, in fact, most of the conversations that I hear from people is that he was equally, if not more in some cases responsible for the win shares. You have two guys were equally unselfish, and don’t care who they share the spotlight with as long as they are equally recognized, and holding the trophy above their head…. Nobody is going to deny that the face of the Nuggets is Nikola, Jokić, but Nikola Jokić isn’t going to deny the fact that his little buddy was heavily relied upon during tough defense of assignments and clutch moments of the game where Nikola Jokić was lacking. Murray was picking up the slack where Murray could not play BIG. He was relying on Jokic to be that guy… The other thing I simulate think that is being lost in the ECHO’s here is just how valuable the Nuggets bench came in… just how valuable Aaron Gordon was down the stretch, and giving Jokić a break playing against some of the Biggs… hopefully Porter Junior can get his act together and get more consistent. He contributed, but at times his play was subpar as he was missing a bunch of key shots. If he would’ve hit half as many threes has he took in that last game I believe the Nuggets would’ve won by 30…. As far as tandems go, Murray and Jokić are going to go down in history as the number one underrated great tandem….
Jokic, imo, can get to Shaq levels (top 15 all time player). I love and respect murray but not sure he has the potential ceiling to be a Mount Rushmore all time player lol. But I wouldn’t bet against him. Has a great mindset
And while they might not reach the individual levels of Kobe and Shaq, I think they DEFINITELY have the capacity to succeed more than Kobe and Shaq did from a team perspective
@@skap_attack If both of them continue on this level for the next 5-10 years, the only thing they need is to win 2 more championships. I think skill wise they are above Kobe and Shaq. And as long as they get along and the media don't try to pit them against each other, they'll be fine.
@@skap_attack If LeBron doesn't go down as the biggest fraud in nba history the propaganda machine has done their job very well. I've shown your videos to all friends that Call lebron THE GOAT and I have yet to hear a rebuttal. We need more people out here calling it as it is.

I would agree. Hakeem, Dirk and Kobe imo won with the “least help” that I’ve ever seen. With Hakeem being number one.

"A super team looking to steal cheap rings"😂
Yeah he earned it, he is one damn good player. My big three for Nuggets are Jokic, Murray and Gordon and if they healthy and play like this year, you are looking at a new dynasty coming up in Nuggets.
Definitely a balanced team with a strong 1a. And 1b during the playoffs. I smell dynasty. Barring injury.
LMAO the random shots at LeBron while riding Kobe meat is hilarious 😂 you right about Murray tho
He should’ve been a 2x All Star by now
Preach fam gawd damn!!!
🙏❤️
Ya he really does. My one friend was trying to say "Murray wasn't that good" and i think that's how most casual fans look at him.
They're sadly mistaken because Murray is the real deal Holyfield
You could’ve made a case that Jamal deserved that western conference MVP. Lakers had no answer to him. That Murray and Jokic is probably the deadliest combo in the league when healthy
After I saw Jamal's games in the bubble I told my friends that brother was coming.
Yah some respect for Murray. This team puts me in mind of the Spurs. Very team oriented but the with 2 elite guys(3 for the spurs). Murray's injuries and media bias have kept him from his credit. Jokic and Murray can run off a few rings if they both stay healthy.
I totally agree. I’m very reluctant to ever use the term “dynasty”, but I think these guys have the ability (health pending).
Gordon is an elite glue guy, this team's Draymond with a higher ceiling. MPJ has elite talent but has dealt with a lot of injuries.
@@lymphomasurvive overall they make up a very nice team. All their pieces fit perfectly.
Wow...he had one good playoff run...
Thank you for speaking the Truth
My pleasure. And thank you for watching 🙏 ❤️
This. Guy. Gets. It.

A yr later you calling him trash. Such a Jokic stan
I don’t hate klay Thompson and we can all admit his career is downhill from here since that acl tear.. but Jamal Murray worked his ass off without making any excuses. That’s why he’s so emotional when they won
Good luck with getting them to respect Murray, they don't even want to respect Jokic.
Lol you’re absolutely right 😂. But it’s not going to stop me from trying…
Been saying this man has been disrespected & underrated since the bubble.
He’s unfortunately probably on that Kobe trajectory of lifelong disrespect. And I honestly hate to see it.
Laughable.
@@skap_attack who’s your top 5?
@@skap_attack definitely not a LeBron fan. Most of us here aren’t. I never wanted him to come, and I know I’m not alone.
But, he does have some support. People who love analytics and don’t actually watch the games. Always have the same arguments. Same lies Nick Wrong, Shannon Dull, and the rest spew.
@@J23LA24 I grew up in the heart of the Kobe era. He’s easily not only my favorite basketball player of all time, but my favorite athlete of all time. I was in staples for his career finale (the pinnacle of my life being physically present for that 😂). He beat 2 injured teams. Nothing special

Awesome video!!! Can you do a Leflop vs Kobe video?? We need to show all of the crybabys who make excuses for the self proclaimed goat 🐐 that he's not even at the same level as Kobe!!!!
They only water down Jamal's importance because he's a Canadian-born player. Big up to my T-Dot fam!!!
Kobe and Shaq wasn't Batman and Robin they were Batman and Superman
Same with the Joker and Murray, I'm really happy the Nuggets kept their faith in Murray.
Couldn’t agree more!
Nice comparison. We could be witnessing a new dynamic duo of Jokic and Murray, just like Shaq and Kobe. Only that we have even better supporting casts of Michael Porter Junior, Aaron Gordon and Kentavious Caldwell Pope.
Jamal in Arabic means : beauty , all respect to him & to skap attack .
Jokic and Murray are the next Kobe and Shaq.
That's what I've been saying, it's like people are intentionally forgetting how important Jamal Murray was in the playoffs.
It’s this sick era. When you have the alleged best player of the era calling himself the goat and asking for his damn respect.
@@skap_attack If LeBron doesn't go down as the biggest fraud in nba history the propaganda machine has done their job very well. I've shown your videos to all friends that Call lebron THE GOAT and I have yet to hear a rebuttal. We need more people out here calling it as it is.
