I really appreciate your announcing the best at the beginning. I didn't have time to listen to it all but I've saved the video to watch all of it later. Thanks so much!
Oh wow! I didn’t realize this posted so recently, thank you for this video! 🎉 I’m looking to start selling art prints at market booths and wanted to have a post card like feel to them 😁 I’d searched for info before a few weeks ago and didn’t find anything helpful and was trying again today and found this! Thank you again!
Have you tried the Via Linen in 80lb instead of 100lb? And do you think the Via Linen Pure White has the slightly "creamy" color to it? I'm looking for a softer white linen. My art seems to look better with a slight creamy background instead of solar/bright white.
I got a sample sheet of the 80lb and found it to be too thin for my preference, but they may have other 100lb cardstock with a creamier tone. The 80lb Red River papers feel more sturdy.
I have an epson 3850 inkjet and i've been trying to print our family holiday cards using 65lb cardstock, but the image looks horribly pixelated and blotchy. I can assure that the digital image is a high quality 24mp image. I've been doing trial and error on different paper settings, but it does not come out clear at all. If I print it out on photo paper, it's perfect. Do you think its due to the cardstock type?
Hi, I started printing my own at home on cardstock from Michael's and have sold a few. Do you find that you need to coat them with anything, like the semi-shiny printed cards? I do worry about them getting easily damaged from moisture if someone were to get it wet somehow after purchase or it being damaged in the mail from weather. Thanks for advice!
So glad I watched this whole video. Have you tried any of the Amazon papers? I’m used to using the Hammermill 100lb or Hamilco 100lb but neither are perfect for me, so I’m still searching.
I have not. I personally prefer trying out the paper sites that offer a sample rather than committing to a large pack. I did come across reviews on RR (one of them I included a screen shot of in the video) that said their paper is far better than the ones on Amazon.

Good to know! I also don’t love the video teasers that make you watch the whole thing :).
So happy I found you and Red River. They sell the best paper and have wonderful support.
so glad you agree! i’ve had the same experience.
Love the update on your original content! Great information on the comparison of the papers! Thanks!
thanks for watching on launch day :)!
This was so helpful! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing and for the grid explaining all the papers you tested!
You’re welcome!

my guess is the 65lb paper is uncoated matte which can dull the vibrancy of the photo.

Is it easy to post products globally? And have you considered print on demand?

Surely your graphic is wrong at 2mins 36 seconds showing the A2 size??
Yes, the A2 measurement refers to the poster size that I was going to explain a few seconds later. Oops 🤦🏻♀️.
