I think you’ve missed the point. They mocking the fact that Gervais does the same mannerisms (that were originally used with Brent) in all of his characters/performances. That’s a common criticism of Gervais- he can’t actually act anything other than a variation on Brent.

This is a spot-on impression of his Office-type comedy, and how he was when I saw some of the stuff with Karl Pilkington in it (which I couldn't bear so stopped watching and can't remember that much about). However, Extras, After Life, his stand-up are all pretty different to that.

Still spot on 11 years later. Harry and Paul = class act and Ricky Gervais never looked more like a one trick pony.

This is a spot-on impression of his Office-type comedy, and how he was when I saw some of the stuff with Karl Pilkington in it (which I couldn't bear so stopped watching and can't remember that much about). However, Extras, After Life, his stand-up are all pretty different to that.

Farage was on HIGNFY? now and again (like Boris Johnson) before they realised embarrassing them on national TV only made them more popular.
