I miss the Oregon of the 60s, where I grew up in rural Klamath Falls. _Horse camped in the Steens Mountains a couple times, and _*_it was heart warming in the morning, to see the mustangs in the valley below our camp._*

A very interesting documentary which helps to understand what travelling in wagons was like. it's interesting for us in Europe to know what was going on and how people traveled to the west of the United States. A very beautiful video with nice people. Thank you.

Marie, thank you for your kind comments, I'm glad that you found it interesting. The group that took the trip was from Paradise Adventist Academy - a Seventh-day Adventist school. When the Paradise California fire came through it destroyed part of the school and the covered wagons that were used for these trips.

I liked it very much and such a culture is followed. It is very wonderful save nature and culture.

Thank you, I only spent one afternoon with them as they came to Walla Walla. I mainly shot it for my wife so she could see it upon returning from Bozeman, Montana.

      Hi Odee,
I have never accompanied David Vixie on one of these adventures but I know that he would do a section of the trail each year. I am sending you two links that give more information about the excursions:
