This is just ethereal in its beauty. I can imagine the icy cold winds swirling the snow about outside... The lonely cry of a solitary wolf in the night... And I, being ill, weary, and cold from traveling from afar, have been given fresh, clean, dry clothing, and a delicious hot meal with warm, spiced mead to wash it down. I am told that I am most welcome to remain however long I wish. Then I am shown to a beautiful room with a large fireplace, the cheery fire warming the room, sparking and crackling, lighting the dark corners and showing that all is well, and I am safe. My host assures me that a hearty breakfast will be brought to me in the morning, then takes his leave. I crawl into the huge, warm bed, my eyelids fluttering as I watch the fire. As I drift into a deep, peaceful, healing sleep, I hear the distant chant of the monks begin as they sing evening hymns and perform evening rituals. My weary mind rests, and I know that all will be well.

Something about inclement weather pairs itself so well with these deep spiritual songs.
To me, it's symbolic of the spirit persevering through the tumultuous storms of life and finding beauty, hope, and light in the darkness.
Over Christmas 2022 I caught covid and had an unbroken fever for two days. I found it very hard to sleep, but I kept finding myself here every night. Maybe it's just the Catholic in me speaking, but I found this incredibly soothing when I was sick.

A more medieval/ancient form of the Orbis Factor setting of the Kyrie in the Latin Mass. A slightly moderated version is still sung in Latin Mass and other traditional Catholic parishes. Find the nearest one and go!
It makes me think: does the song of faith draws us closer to humanity or the divine? Is the calling for our minds or our hearts?
Its about deep thinking but it says: Kyrie Eleison(God show mercy to us).

So, get this: I imagine this is The Boreal Valley during the Age of Fire, back when things were actually good. Gwyn rules over Anor Londo in its glory days, the sun rises and sets in peace, the moonlight glistens on the crystalline snow in the valley, and you are a knight watching the snowfall and listening to the beautiful choir chant from within the great cathedral nearby. For now, things are good and the Darkness to come is still a long way off. Majestic. ❄️

I don't upload videos myself, though I appreciate people like yourself who do. But what I don't understand (really - I just don't understand it) is why in the midst of a meditative piece such as this you have advertisements. Nothing harshes the relaxed mood like a sudden, blaring ad for God knows what. It's jarring. I immediately move on to another channel. I see a lot of positive comments here, and I'm not disagreeing with them - I just can't deal with ads breaking in just as I've reached virtual nirvana.
My channel is not monetized so it is adds free. In some videos ( like this one ) I use chants that other artists created. Advertisements are from that artists, this is the price I have to pay for using their content. I can't do anything about it.
