Love Westbroekes' interpretation of the role; this woman who can control a whole barroom of men, but acts like a 12-year old girl when the "bad boy" shows up. She and Kaufmann use their wonderful voices very well together; they're both at the tops of their careers. The book is so outdated, but they make it so real by their artistry.
I attended this matinee performance. Kaufmann and Westbroek make a great team here, as well as Chenier and Walkure. Kaufmann only sang a performances in this series; the others were sung by the husband of Netrebko.
But, Tiago de Lode, why don't you write when and where the show was, who are the other singers, who is the conductor? Not everyone who finds and listens to your recording knows these details. Thanks.

I love this opera and production, Jonas and Eva-Maria are wondeful !!! Shoud not begin to listen or deep into the night, just cannot stop.

I believe the show took place in New York in 2018. Kaufmann sings with Eva Maria Wetbrook and Zeljo Lucic and the conductor was Marco Armiliato.
Westesbrock îs for sure a powerful voice . I reecognize the baritone he interpreted Rigoleto with Flores in 2007 .
