It's sinful that the MET did nothing with the great success of Miss Daniels whom I got to know personally quite well. Her MET career was essentially over after FANCIULLA after which she went to Europe. I have no idea what the problem was but MISS DANIELS should have become a superstar but the MET just let disappear from the MET ROSTER, one of the most abysmal things ever in MET history. It's still something over which I have never forgiven the MET. WHY DID THIS HAPPEN is the million dollar question? Barbara Daniels career was essentially over at such a young age.!
