Hi dr Rohan. Thank you for sharing this video. Wearing barefoot shoes completely transformed my workouts. They allow my feet to move naturally, which improved my stability and form during lifts. Over time, I’ve felt my legs and feet grow stronger. I personally use Hykes Max. They’re minimalist, durable, and really comfortable. It’s like rediscovering how your feet are meant to function. What do you think about barefoot shoes for working out
Depends what type of HIIT. If it involves a lot of random high impact movements along with lateral movements, i'd advise you to pick up something which has motion control. However if you are already used to barefoot shoes, you could easily wear these.
The Nike Legends 2 are indeed their cheapest sneakers. However they are raised and also have a 5.1mm Heel to Toe drop. I dont like shoes like these personally due to the lack of ground feel. Its good for exercises in which you would jump around a lot or do a lot of lateral movements.
Wouldn't be my first choice as they are walking shoes and therefore we can expect a heel to toe drop. But if you already have it, do use them to get started and then upgrade when need arises.
You could but everytime you have a run you'd like to have the best possible conditions to challenge yourself and be relatively comfortable at the same.
I haven't included any running shoes in the description as they aren't ideal for strength training. In the video though i have displayed the Puma Deviae Nitro elite and Skechers Max Road 6. I have reviews for both these on the channel.
Have put up affiliate links with gym shoes you might want to consider in the description.
Great video!! Loved every bit of it!
Thanks so much!!
Very important information Dr.👌
Thanks a lot

Awesome to hear. They are great to workout in. Just be wary if you do a lot of high impact work where you land on your heels.

@@drrohanfonseca any recommendations you have as now I want to upgrade.[was using them for 1 year]
What about when we are running on a treadmill? Gym shoes or running shoes?
Running shoes.
@@drrohanfonsecaBut you could also wear non running shoes, right? i.e. It doesn't have to be mandatory running shoes.
You could but everytime you have a run you'd like to have the best possible conditions to challenge yourself and be relatively comfortable at the same.
