just so you know: your walks are the best for several reasons. 1. you are real. you have a shadow and you talk to people and say hello. 2. the history of the areas you post is not available anywhere else. anyone can go on google earth but not learn much of the history of the area. 3. your attention to character details of the area is a special thing to me. the plants, the green growing things on the stairs, the cats, the boats , the restaurants, the street decor, the seasonal times you have chosen. it is the details that make the areas come alive. 4. i like that you include the insides of some of the older buildings, churches, civic piazzas, city halls, and the occasional art displays. they make the area real. thank you again so much. please do keep up doing these. your work is enjoyed immensely.
Dear Ellen, I'm really honoured to read such a message from you. This is the greatest reward I could have reading such things and knowing that these walks are enjoyed "as they are" and in how I film them as well. Very happy as always to see somebody likes how I film the towns as well, and my approach to this hobby as well... Still a lot of towns to visit, with time... wont' stop until I won't be able to walk anymore) San Vito was indeed a little gem - I actually prefer the quiet towns without people as I always said, even though many people tell me that they are not enjoyed as they are so lonely.. but the sound of quietness and the views one can get while not full of people are just a different thing.. "Buona domenica" dear Ellen and a big embrace
Another hidden gem in central Italy. I really enjoyed the drone intro as I can see that it’s a really beautiful hillside town. It’s surrounded by other towns in the valleys near the sea, that makes it very special. The town itself is very well kept, adorned with plants and flowers. Great video, thanks Riccardo.
Glad you enjoyed it also San Vito dear Esther. A very well kept town indeed, the people were very proud of their town, as I discussed with some of them (when I stopped filming in the middle of the video, you can see from the thumbnail the people I spoke there). They absolutely loved their town and we chatted up a bit. Close to the sea, yet high on the ground. Great panorana, markets and supermarkets nearby, big street connecting it. Beautiful place if one would like to retire.. a very pretty town. Wish you a nice Sunday dear Esther and see you as always
Ciao Angela, indeed very coloured it was San Vito) Nice town indeed... nice memories of that day. Chatted with people there, lovely people as well! Buona domenica to you too Angela and yes, at the next video
Ciao Angelo, indeed a very beautiful day, bright sunshine, clear sky, not so many people. A july day before the crowdy month of August. A beautiful place indeed this was. Wish you a nice Sunday and see you soon
What a delightful little town in the Abruzzo region. The flowers at that time of the year are so pretty. Love how the people use colourful chairs to put their plants (that gave me an idea). Hope you are over the virus, Riccardo 🤗 P.S. just watched an Italian film based in Pescasseroli. (Italian film festival here atm) Grande abbraccio 🤗da Sydney
Geraldine ciao. Oh finally feeling a lot better , grazie! Very interesting about a movie in Pescasseroli… magical town. What was it about? Oh San Vito was super nice … I want to go back in time and get back to summer time :/// an abbraccio too Geraldine and buon weekend
@@StillWanderer the movie was about school teachers trying to safe a school with low enrollment from being closed down (otherwise the town dies). They used Pescasseroli for filming. We also saw a good movie about Maria Montessori. We've seen 6 movies, two more to go😊 Glad you're feeling better 😊
sounds like a good movie then) Indeed, one of the worst flu I've ever got this was... still have some coughs aftrer all these days but it's fine now. Grazie Geraldine
Спасибо, моя дорогая Елена, всегда рада видеть тебя снова. Это действительно красивая страна... расслабляющая прогулка. Желаю вам хорошего воскресенья и до скорой встречи
Ciao Clark, a very pretty town indeed San Vito. I actually preferred it lonely like that day to be honest... A rough hidden gem - not so well known or visited unfortunately. Some renovations maybe will be done soon - talked with some people from there and they were SO proud of their town , I was touched
❤ Wonderful that churches are still open, so nice to see, even when there is not a Mass. In France now this is impossible because of all the vandalisms 😢
Indeed Demode, I also love touring inside the churches, one of my passion actually... It's crazy to think that even the small churches are being closed for that reasdons..to be honest I saw also here something new like this happening. This is crazy and sad... maybe these videos will be testimony of "how it used to be" years away from now... who knows. Buona domenica and see you soon
@@StillWanderer The amphitheater is very italian though! Only in Italy can people turn a small space between houses into a concert venue! BTW, the mainstreet leading to the church looks like an airport runway! Remove the church and fly away!

¡Siempre excelentes videos!
Gracias querido Gordito y buone domenica!
Bellissima 💗
Glad you enjoyed it Lisa - indeed, a "forgotten town" San Vito, not sou touristy, yet so charming
Nice looking area. But many buildings need paint or more stucco etc. Love the hilltop location. Grazie. 🇮🇹 😊
