    Finally I found the video for what i am searching for years 🙏🙏🙏🙏...can you please tell which book you are following to design this strap footing ... please refer that text books which has design example problems of strap beam for eccentrically loaded footing 🙏🙏🙏🙏

      There is not a proper text book considering my approach. i followed some research papers and online docs

    Hello Sir...nice video...hats off to the slow and detailed explanation....my doubt is if the udl is not considered below strap beam then how can we cast the beam at the footings level??

      Practically not possible. Either you can cast beam with thermocol at base of it which we can remove later by breaking it.

    As there is hogging moment in the beam, bottom fibre behaves in compression and top in tension. So, the compression reinforcement calculated for strap beam shall be in bottom and tension in top?? For your comment on this??

      Go for combined footing but check its design as well
