10 years ago(please correct me if I'm wrong) we were presented with a wonderful story... awesome set of characters and a jaw dropping music and here it is a decade later the renowned cult classic is here to make us experience the story once more. 1.22 releases the day after the 11 year aniversary of the original. I was too young at the time to play it and my introduction to the series was through nier automata, which I got 3 years ago but only played January this year. I can't wait to experience Replicant for the first time and I'll hopefully enjoy it as much as or even more than Automata.
I still have my ps3 version I got out of the bargain bin for $5 and it remains one of the best ps3 games I’ve played in terms of story even if the gameplay was a little janky sometimes

this is from the collectors edition cd we dont know for sure if it even appears in the game. but if they added ending e from grimoire nier (since that did only happen in replicant not gestalt) we would have to play as kaine for that segment...
pretty sure the second half is just Kaine~Escape which was already in the original. Tho it would be perfect if we finally got to play her instead of just Nier the entire game

@@mazinnasra5570 If I'm not mistaken, Nier is a Drakengard spinoff that takes place after Drakengard 1, and D3 is supposed to be the prequel to that one, sooo... yeah, finish D3, then play D1 and then Nier. Which Nier? I suggest you wait for Replicant ver 1.224... . Although if you're either impatient (couldn't blame ya), want to play as papa Nier instead of bro Nier, or both, then go for Gestalt. There's no real difference between the two versions' story other than the protag. However, the Replicant upgrade coming up might have more content than the original, and I expect the combat system to be significantly better, so it's probably best to be patient. Have fun!

Nier soundtracks is my #1 favorite soundtracks in any game it even beats my love for the FF7 soundtrack and KH soundtracks its just eargasm at this point and I LOVE IT 🖤🖤🖤🐢
I love Emi Evan's voice, I fell in love with it the first time I heard it. I was one who played Automata before Gestalt on PS3. And over all Yoko Taro jumped to the top of my list of favorite video game music composers. I need to play the Drakengard games just to hear the music and get some more of the world.

Ladies and gentlemen, square did not JUST "EDIT" this track, they REMADE IT, they RESANG this track JUST for the remaster of REPLICANT. Square really said LETS GO ALL ON OUT. And this is why they're my favourite company.

I'm saying they're stripping it down and completely rebuilding it, and I'm not just talking about Mechanics and controls, supposedly they're adding some new features and story elements, as well as updating sidequest to be more in depth. This game was the pinnacle of the epic saga that is Drakengard-NieR, so for this "version up" as Yoko calls it, they're fine tuning what made it great, overhauling what held it back, and adjusting some of the other aspects that while they didn't hold it back, they didn't push it forward either. All this while also adding new stuff to enhance the experience even further. I honestly feel like this will be the best game we've since Bloodborne back in 2015.
The original from 2010 was for 11 years my alarm every morning. My mornings started with a heart attack with the first bell ring. Changed it to the re-arranged version. No more heart attacks in the mornings, only tears.
