This is great! My 61 Shasta needs a complete door rebuild, this will be very helpful. Thanks, Rob.

Angry ex found our little camper (I don't know the name brand) broke every window ripped at the ceiling with a crowbar I guess. We didn't go out to our pasture to look closely, but when we did,🙄 he'd left the door open deliberately and now it just layers of door. But it was a gist from my brother a long time ago and we're sentimental. So we're going to be chipping away at the damage till it fit for humans to stay in again. Lord willing before autumn sets in. Thanks for the video, it's informative.

Love the slight seek peeks in your videos of stuff you haven’t showed. Gets me anxious and excited. Keep up the good work.

Love you vids Rob. I am trying to write my early days travel adventures. But I am having a difficult time with my hands right now. Not the best at typing right now. May take me awhile. Would be better if I could call it in to ya?

Building a door like you did would it be the same as on an RV door and if you’re redoing the whole door you can not use the original manufacture lock you can do your own

What size lumbar did you use? My door now is currently a piece of 3/4 plywood with the oem Aluminum trim on it

I just cut down 2x4's to match the original measurements.

@@RobTheRebuilder do you remember off hand? Haha. I don’t have anything to measure off of.

@@Blue04Z71 I don't remember but you can take the top or bottom piece and measure it across and leave room for your metal exterior and luan interior piece. I'll bet it is somewhere around 3/4" to 1 1/8". Just experiment with some scrap pieces. I'm out of town or I would go to the shop and try and figure it out. Sorry. Good luck
