If zombies can remember compulsions and gather at the mall, I wonder if they would remember places they hate and avoid them. I could see all the zombies steering clear of the DMV lol

The opening of this movie has one of the best mid-zombie-apocalypse sequences in cinema. The bit where she's driving through the town and we're seeing hell break loose all around her is incredible. In a lot of zombie apocalypse movies, we don't really get to see the zombie apocalypse in process, it's often either after the apocalypse has hit full swing, or we're in a small, isolated area where we can see the horde, but not the effect it is having on civilization.
The dog was in their line of sight when they lowered him. 😃 It's not that.
The problem with this theory is why, if the zombies are being driven by aggression and hunger, not attacking each other?
According to James Gunn himself, the virus in this movie was always meant to be supernatural, like a vampire bite, however, it is very clear that at some point during production they decided to make it something viral. Hence the big deal and focus on Kenneth’s arm when he cut himself in the fountain where the Ben Cozine brawl happened. I always liked the idea of the zombies being a sort of judgment day allegory. We fucked up bad and now we’re being punished by our own actions.
I suggest using term "diplomacy applicator" instead of "firearm". Addtionally, with adjective describing type if needed (spicy for flamethrower, handheld for handgun etc.)
I don't think we should call them Zombies, rather "Infected Individuals" so not to offend them

If an infected can see a doggie door then they can see a dog.
A few issues with your theories. First, the little girl at the beginning, as far as we know, could have been attacked by her infected parents, ran to Anna's house as they were close friends, once inside the front door, she could have succumbed to her wounds and once she rose again, wandered the house until finding the two in bed asleep. There is no indication that she walked over and attacked out of memory.
Romero’s “night of the living dead” has the statement that a satellite from Venus that was giving off a strong unknown radiation was destroyed in atmosphere.
Pretty sure Andy wasn't quite turned when he wrote with blood on the board, he just knew it was the quickest way to get the message across that he was done for

The zombies are dead. There's a severed head in a box that's still animated, right at the end of the film. In fact you show it in your video.
