"Every humane and patriotic heart must grieve to see a bloody and causeless rebellion, costing thousands of human lives and millions of treasure. But as it was predetermined and inevitable, it was long enough delayed. Now is the appropriate time to solve the greatest problem ever submitted to civilized man."
- Thaddeus Stevens
I suddenly fee patriotic for a country i dont even live in
Lol 😂
America is in our hearts not our maps
I agree@@user-ms5qt1zq6d
Glass, given how many of its sings grew from Ireland, I feel ya.
Union Forever!!!!
I have never been to a Civil War Re-enactment, and nor do I wish to go and see one. But, I have heard a lot about them! I am sure that all the Men in Union Blue look very handsome indeed! But, war is Hell. I is such a shame that so many handsome young Men from both sides died! May they all Rest in Peace.

3:10 in, man in gray uniform reaching for the Parrott gun was Confederate General Armistead. He was mortally shot moments later; this was at Gettysburg.
Can't wait for 4th of July, Sweet...
might build a rice farm in minecraft to this
I'm glad we beat those Johnny Rebs!
SHUT UP I'M A SOUTHERN BOY SO SHUT YE MOUTH
Amen, even though there's a lot of white conservatives, and even a few bootlick black ones that not only wish the war had gone the other way but are literally trying to run it back.
In this country EVERY man woman and child regardless of race or creed, down with slavery and live on the union.
That's right! This is still the YOU-nited States of America. May it always be so!
shout that out in New York city, and see what that get's you. it's the same democrats that caned Senator Charles Sumpter to death in 1861 that are keeping black people slaves today. The only thing is the noose is different. Now it's drugs, black pop culture, distaining making something respectable of one's self because that's acting too "white", government wellfare, fatherless homes and victem mentality. It's horrible sad and unfortunate. The blacks are not free, so long as they do not see that they -are- free.
read the original naturalization act of the USA
regardless of race? tell that to a union soldier in 1860s and he will laugh in your face
@@autumnwinter3639 there were abolitionist union soldiers? And black ones too in the latter half of the war
I've never heard “When Johnny Comes Marching Home.” on the fife with that sound to it, nor really any fife I've heard.

If I made any mistake such as putting the Confederate name of the song or wrong timestamp, please inform me.
@Chriss the nationalist Most certainly! I’ve been planning on doing that. Have you any particular tunes in mind that you would be expecting on the video?
@Chriss the nationalist Definitely.

@@user-dm9hp7ok2t British tune and more-so a late-18th century one. I'm aware of its usage during the American Civil War though for the most part I tried to use tunes that were written around the time of the Civil War.
@@kinggeorgeiii7515I don't think I've ever met up with a rendition of Garryowen to match the feverish one in the soundtrack to _Little Big Man._ Scary!
Thanks for the great music!!!!
God save the Republic!
Great work. Thanks

Fun fact: Gay at that time actually meant happy, unlike what it means today
I know. perfectly good word had been ruined
''aye i have to say, im pretty much gay right now''
@@Tlf1625I’m happy for you in 1832 “mate I indeed feel very gay for you!”

love it!
I believe the one that you titled "Chain Cotillion" Is "Chester"
Yeah I believe that was one of the tunes I struggled with finding the proper name. Both are just different names, though I think Chain Cotillion is the original name.

It's all stolen
What’s stolen?
@@kinggeorgeiii7515 Most of these American songs are of British origin
The continental US started as English colonies, so...
Not stolen; repurposed.

British fife and drum way better
Are we still angry "the rabble" beat that kraut old king George's army? HAHA. I Love the British Grenadiers March, thats one of the best military fife and drum songs of all time in my humble opinion. You Brits do have some great music for sure.
Thanks for giving us The Girl I Left Behind me, absolutely lovely song
American fife and drum is way better bro
@masterwhomp565 not really bro.
