One of the best camp sites ever. My family had a cabin on Kenai Lake for about 30 years and the locals call that camp site Honolulu Beach. Great place for a cool dip on a sunny day.

Suprisingly first TH-cam comment ever. Been watching your family take this adventure and I wanted to say it some how and some way that you are living life the right way. I’m sure it’s tougher than what you edit in the episodes but your family’s channel got me. You guys have had some hard times through the series but I wish I could somehow make that decision to do something like this. Would love to pick your brains if I ever met your guys. Halibut Campground (Anchor Point ) we stayed there in 16'. Other than the camp host we were the only ones there. Cool beach...Big tides...
It's a great spot! We tried about 4 others before picking this one.
@@LifestyleOverland On that street after the trestle bridge there are 3 or 4 other camping sections to the state park, along with a private campground. Normally they are empty, but when the Steelhead are running all bets are off.

Being born and raised in Homer/Anchor Point you're making be very homesick. Some great King Salmon fishing in the Anchor River. If you're there in May anyway.
