  • I finished my K390 knife and I cut a few things to test out the durability of the edge.

Love K390! My favorite so far. Still didn't tried Cru wear or Magnacut. Greetings from Austria

I still have to use this knife for a while longer but so far K390 has outperformed other steels I’ve used. I haven’t tried Cru Wear but I have made a few knives in Magnacut and, to me, it’s the best overall stainless steel. The only thing is that you have to go thicker behind the edge on a larger Magnacut knife if you don’t want the edge to warp when chopping hard woods. Greetings right back from the USA.

Crazy good chopping bro. I also have the Spyderco Police4 in K390. Got the serrated edge version have the plain edge Endura in K390 as well. Like lionknives I havent gotten any in Cruware or Magnacut as of yet. Interested to see that "more pointy" knife you are planning to make. Good fortune on our further knife journeys !

Thank you, I always appreciate your encouragement. I didn’t think k390 was going to do so well as a chopper. It’s made me appreciate my police 4 more, simply for the toughness. The more pointy knife will be the same Bowie style knife I already made in CPM 3V and 80crv2. Just so I can test them against each other.

Nice knife awesome. The other day I saw knife center new knifes of the week. They showed the see 3 really nice knife. Multiple options for carry. I was thinking about it. It was combo edge serated/ plain edge. Awesome

Thank you. Did you mean the Esee 3? If so, I’ve looked into the Esee 6 and 5 but not the 3. I did after I read your comment. It looks like a good knife I didn’t know that there was one that was partially serrated either. Thanks for telling me about it. So far my carry fixed blade has worked out ok, the handle might need to be a bit shorter though.

@@totesmalotes yes I did mean the Esee 3. It was really nice to see a fix blade that was serated. Didn't even think any company made a serated/plain edge fix blade. Do you sell your knifes that you make? Thanks again Kyle

@@Kyle-bb9zp yeah, you don’t see too many serrated fixed blades. The spyderco Enuff comes in a fully serrated version; I can’t think of any other knife around that size. But half serrated seems even more rare.
I’m currently just making knives for myself. People I know in person have asked for a price but they’re not really knife people so the high price I would give them would probably leave them in shock. I’m mostly just trying to find the perfect knife for me.

@@totesmalotes yeah I have not seen any serated fix blades besides what you mentioned and the Esee 3.

@@totesmalotes that's a really cool Spyder co serated fix blade as well. Looked it up tonight on you tube.
