When the bodycam footage is released, you have to react to it. In Milwaukee, an officer, named Peter Jerving, responded to an armed robbery call, found the guy, and the suspect shot him, Jerving shot back, and killed the suspect, however when rendering aid to the suspect, Jerving collapsed and died on the suspect from bleeding out, he cared more for the suspect’s life, the same one who ended up killing him, than his own. What’s crazy is that he was out due to the fact that our city is like the Commiefornia of the Midwest, and one of our finest judges releasing him early for a violent crime. The MPD plans on releasing the footage soon, and it would mean a lot to everybody if you reacted to it, as it reflects the selflessness of our police in the US, and how the best are being ruthlessly killed in our streets due to the activist judges and D.A.’s that run our cities

I had a senior citizen (retired, but still useful) bearcat sitting across from my home for 2 weeks. We had some nasty drug dealers (living with their daddy) who had a running line of customers, literally. The leader had an armed guard and we had 2 shootouts. My son's car was stollen, my home broken into, my little dog kicked in the head, and my car caught a stray bullet. The entire street got mad and we finally bombarded the totally lame police office with so many calls that they did something. Parking that retrofitted bearcat with 24/7 cameras and audio did the trick. They couldn't do any of their drug selling, so they went out of business...or more likely moved it somewhere else.

As far as total violent crime rate, the two states are nearly equal. One red state, one blue state - both have a violent crime problem. But hey, let's blame the soft judges in Cali... why let facts get in the way of serving up what the folks want: simple answers, not the truth.

      @@camplethargic8
      Year of 2020-
      California: 2,368 deaths
      Texas: 2,212 deaths
California outranked Texas in murders by a rate of 156 in 2020. Wanna try again??
The year before, 2019, California outpaced Texas by 100.
      CA: 1,794
      TX: 1,694
      Wanna blame the guns too?
Alabama is literally built upon a foundation of firearms and lawful gun ownership and we had 587 murders that year (2019) and 654 in 2020.
The problem isn't Texas or guns, it's the amount of f**kin' degenerates and cartel members flooding eastward from a piss-poor system of border control and law enforcement being outmanned and outgunned in every situation from every clown saying to defund the police and take away all the guns from ONLY the law-abiding citizens.
AL said "to hell with that, keep your guns" and we have a far, FAR lower rate of homicide than either state does.
The problem isn't guns or a state, it's the people.
      It's always the people.
California turned itself into little Mexico, loosened their borders, and now every hardened criminal and gangbanger on the west coast is having to become a migrant themselves because the people coming in are far, far worse and deadlier people than they are.
That, and the copious amount of narcotics pouring up and down the west coast from Washington State down to the border from same said cartel stepping all over the turf of these gangbangers.
Now they just relocate their business and start slaughtering citizens elsewhere.
You want to blame Texas, fine, but first pull your head outta your own ass and realize that they all came from somewhere-- moving East from California due to lower cost of living and ease-of-access to larger cities like Dallas and Houston.
Frisco has one of the lowest crime rates in the state and that will not last.
I've seen San Francisco, and Skid Row LA, and I've seen Dallas/Frisco/Austin both at day and at night. I've seen Dayton, Ohio too and that's where Dave Chappelle's birdshot-BUCKSHOT story happened.
I'll tell you right f**kin' now which place I'd rather be.
It's Texas. It will always be Texas.
If it can't be Alabama, it will be Texas.
That's the problem. You have law-abiding citizens seeing Texas as safe, while degenerates and murderous gangbangers see it as their new crime Mecca.
Because California turned to sh*t for them and they themselves had to flee from even more hardened criminals than themselves, people who would decapitate them with chainsaws or shoot their home with .50cal anti-material rifles and mounted machine guns.
That is, if they watch their step and don't step on the copious hypodermic needles and give themselves HIV or a fentanyl overdose before they get there.
But please, go on about how much worse Texas is than California.

A second deputy elsewhere in the county is in deposition as of this morning for a possible tens of millions figure settlement against the county for a injury sustained due to a low bond set by judge to a violent suspect who clearly said when he gets out he was going to target the deputy that arrested him. *Top 10 Things America could do to solve its crime problem*
    1. Make it a felony and 90 days in jail for being under the influence of any hardcore drug in public or combined with causing disturbances around their living quarters. 2nd offense would be 6 months in jail. 3rd offense would be mandatory 3 years in prison.
    2. We need to make prisoners in jail work again. It could like the old days where they picked up trash off the side of the road, mowing or some type of supervised community service.
    3. Every prison in America needs to be turned into a factory and/or farm that will sustain itself by the work of the prisoners. We're talking 12-hour workdays, 5 days a week and 8 hours of chores on their days off.
    4. We need to put a $20 per week limit on commissary in jails and prisons. Commissary is currency in prison. It has to stop.
    5. Food stamps, SSI, HUD, Welfare etc all need to require drug testing and employment or proof of job search for eligibility unless the person has a solid disability. Also, disability claims need better vetting. The days of people getting SSI checks for stuff like bipolar and drug addiction needs to come to an end.
    6. Drug dealers and repeat offenders will no longer simply just get prison time. We will take them out in public, slip a noose around their neck and watch their feet kick until there is no more life in their bodies.
    7. Mass shooters, cartel leaders/members and terrorists will be covered in animal blood and thrown into pits and/or tanks filled with apex predators.
    8. Every working citizen in America will get a tax break because of the prisons. At the same time, our country will stop hemorrhaging money.
    9. Criminalize marijuana again. Since making this drug legal, look what has happened to our society. We've made getting high socially acceptable. This is no longer a gateway drug. This is floodgate for drug addiction. And while a small portion of people out there love their pot and don't use anything else, the other 80% use this drug along with hardcore drugs on a daily basis. And the teenagers that are using this now have a much higher possibility of becoming hardcore drug addicts.
    10. We give the ultimate middle finger to Mexico. First, we force them to secure all of their borders, including the US/Mexico border and those south of Mexico. Then we force them to eliminate all of their cartels. When I say force, I mean we start with sanctions. If they don't comply, then we introduce them the US military and give them the option to go to war or work in a joint operation to enforce their borders and eliminate their cartels. This has to happen. 99.8% of the drugs in the US are coming from Mexico. Don't believe me. Here's a link to an article.
