Karl Johnson - hi 👋 Joe is my dad and just wondering how you knew him? I hadn’t realised how many ppl did until shortly before his passed away RIP. I used to escort him to the station as he loved the public piano’s but I did it all on his terms - won’t bother you with the details. I intervened on a couple of occasions where I had concerns but was really pleased that he was getting so much joy at the public Piano’s in his latter years.

When I was three I had just learned to read and then one night the church ladies insisted mom get out of the house so we went hymn singing and caroling at the old age home, and they sang this song. I was really weak and undersized, so the minister’s wife stood me up on something and as they sang like six verses she pointed to the words and the notes, and I just got it! I couldn’t believe how amazing life could be, people writing music as well as words down for other people! Best Christmas gift ever, and I think your version is just perfect. Thank you.
People walk past looking strangely at the ones dancing, when in reality there the strange ones how can you not stop and take in the pleasure of seeing and listening to this.
