Elvis was a believer and his light still shines. thru this world, He lifted Jesus up, and God lifted him up! Not many famous people stood as strong for Jesus, as Elvis did.
Actually he wasn't a real believer he was searching sadly at the end of his life and died overdosed on drugs as all know moreso from him trying to go bathroom number two on the toilet and if know anything about heavy pain meds they get you very constipated. He supposedly by mainstream story tried going bathroom and end up having heart cardiac arrest amongst other things. You can play any gospel or Christian song you want that don't make you a Christian. Yes Elvis if remember right he was raised in a Christian family though dying on heavy drugs he was addicted to and abusing I'm not sure he's in heaven... Hopefully in his moments of dying he asked Jesus to forgive him all his sins and asked Jesus to save him and asked Jesus to forgive all who hurt him because forgiving all who hurt us is vital before leaving earth as Jesus said if don't forgive you will not be forgiven
This august (2021) outside of my dad's nursing home this song somehow started to play right after he passed. I asked my girlfriend where the song was coming from. We couldn't figure it out as they didn't have any speakers or anything outside and I had never heard music there before. I will always think of it as my dad speaking to me. It will always be a special song and I can't stop thinking of him every time I hear it.

Yes...this is John Berry's amazing voice singing this amazing gospel song. I have seen him in concert over 20 times in Wisconsin. "One Pair Of Hands" is another, "Only You", "Happy, Happy Birthday, Baby" - guitar version, "Ultra rare songs", "Halleluja" and more... He never sang or recorded any of them, at least not these mentioned versions... So if you don't know it is one of the known songs in the Elvis catalog, you should be "careful" to conclude it's Elvis... :-) Sorry, but that's TH-cam... :-(

I am "new" to making comments on musicians 's songs on You -Tube . In the past being quite "timid" and "shy" I just hear and enjoy the song without subscribing to it and no comments at all. "One Pair Of Hands" is another, "Only You", "Happy, Happy Birthday, Baby" - guitar version, "Ultra rare songs", "Halleluja" and more... He never sang or recorded any of them, at least not these mentioned versions... So if you don't know it is one of the known songs in the Elvis catalog, you should be "careful" to conclude it's Elvis... :-)

on You -Tube . In the past being quite "timid" and "shy" I just hear and enjoy the song without

It's a beautiful song I grew up listening to, my grandfather was a preacher in a little country church and I heard a lot of the older song's and still enjoy to this day.
