Even though I primarily protective styles with two strand twists,I prepoo Everytime I use shampoo. It creates a beautiful barrier that helps me retain moisture.

My hair is fine, so I find it beneficial to pre-poo. It keeps the shampoo from tangling my hair.
Some people do really love prepooing and if it helps, I say "do it." Thanks for watching.
I have this prepoo. It's just okay to me. I wish it had more moisture for high porosity hair.

@@NaturalRaeRae The Just for Me Curl Peace works great for my hair. I'm still using it until I find a vegan alternative that works just as well. (I'm trying to use only vegan hair products). Curl Peace has a similar consistency as the NLS prepoo, but it's more moisturizing.
I go through pre poos the fastest. My hair needs it. I either use a pre poo, a clay wash, or ACV rinse.

I have very fine strands that tangle and coil over themselves so easy, so prepooing for me is a must to make the rest of wash day go easier. I have tried this one by NLS and it was just "ok". My favorite one is the "Thickness and growth prepoo" by Neges Bandas. I use a really good generic detangling brush that I got off Amazon. I think the brand is "BESTOOL", it has longer teeth that may work for you. That Denman ripped my hair out and I haven't tried the Tangle Teaser even though it's a crowd favorite. You had me tickled when you sipped that "tea" and said "no". Lol.
I was checking out Neges Bandas the other day. Don't know if I'll pick anything up; nothing caught my eye. It sounds like your hair likes Ayurvedic products. I do have a brush called Bestool and I do like it; I just didn't have it nearby so I used what I had. Thanks for the suggestion, though, and thanks for always tuning in.
@@NaturalRaeRae You know, I never thought about it, but yes I think my hair does love the Ayurvedic route. I'll have to more intentional about getting those types of products. 👍🏽❤
I really only prepoo if I'm trying new wash day products...
If I'm using my favorites I don't need to bc my deep conditioner has enough slip to detangle & when shampooing my hair I run my fingers downwards..
I agree that it's just an extra unnecessary step..

I love to prepoo, especially if I know my hair is in that brittle stage before I shampoo because of my high porosity hair. I have this prepoo and I like it but I gravitate towards the extra virgin coconut oil by shea moisture more. Great tip rubbing your hands to get those shed hairs.
I don't hear people talking about the Shea Moisture prepoo much. Yeah, it's hard to get all the hair off of your hands, especially if you don't see it, without rubbing your hands together. It was a game changer for me. Thanks for tuning in.
I highly suggest the Felicia Leatherwood brush. The tangle teaser gave me bad split ends and breakage.

I love to prepoo but I do have high porosity hair so it helps with the dryness from shampooing. Now, I'm not a big fan of this prepoo because of the peppermint which is unfortunate since it does have such good ingredients.

@@NaturalRaeRae Besides coconut oil, the Aryuvedic prepoo from The Mane Krush. It has all sorts of great ingredients (minus peppermint)

I pre poo to detangle before I shower because my hair would get knotty when I went from a wash and go straight to shampooing. I diy my own fenugreek and hibiscus mixture and I only finger detangle until I get to my conditioner step.

I typically use a pre poo if it went bore my wash day or hair has dried out. Never tried this one though
If you like prepoos, I'd say give it a try. It has tons of slip and it did work through my tangles. Thanks for tuning in.
this prepoo is all use on my fine extremely coily coilies. I must be on my 5th or 6th reup. I like to transfer the product to a container with a nozzle. saves product and gets it to the strands moe efficient. that tangle teezer is a no for me. I hate the sound of it. love NLS everything
