Good morning, everyone.
Yes, I decided to transcribe Toutetsu Yuuma's second track.
Yesterday I found out that Touhou 17.5 alparecer was out and I listened to Toutetsu's two tracks, I ended up liking his second track a lot so I started transcribing.
After about 21 hours and a lot of caffeine I was able to finish this track.
I think it's more than evident the Touhou 17 style in this track, it's great to hear a similar mix and structure like this, I missed it.
The most amazing thing is that the track is 4 MINUTES long!
It was the longest 4 minutes I've ever had when transcribing, there are many variations throughout the theme that are really very beautiful.
I hope you like it, transcribing and mixing all this was kind of exhausting.
Well, I would go on saying more about this theme, but I would end up filling all this with pure text, besides I want to go to sleep, I only slept 3 hours to continue the theme.

This is probably going to be the best final boss theme for a lot of people including me, this feels like a song to mark a new era of Touhou, taking the most iconic things of Touhou 17 with the crazy piano of Independent Simulacrum and some MS Extra Stage, this song really feels like a commemorial of this last few years of Touhou
Edit: I suck at writing and confused Touhou 17 with 18
Now that you say it, I also feel a little bit of Independent Simulacrum essence, I quite like the theme, it quickly became one of my favorites

I love the 2:21. It sounds very much like classic touhou yet it uses the modern instruments

The use of the clarinet reminds me a bit of "The Stone Baby and the Submerged Bovine" especially the use of double notes and vibrato

Thank you very much, Yuuma's two tracks are really good, but I preferred to transcribe this one because it has several quiet parts.
The first track seems to be best enjoyed in game.

TH-cam is shadow-banning my comments, which makes them visible only to me, and that happens enormously often, especially with large comments (like the ones I just tried to post). And that's extremely frustrating for me.

@@KarlZuniga Oh man, thanks so much for that. I hope it really works. My experience has been bad as I like to support by commenting and saying what I felt listening to Touhou themes.
I'll take the opportunity and say three thinks I wanted to say in the comments that I couldn't post. First, the quiet/beautiful part of this theme also pleased me and pulled my attention a lot and I think it's cool that you like that too. Second, my profile picture is a drawing I made of this new character, because I wanted to do it in the ZUN style. Sep, Jazz Clarinet I think is a better option since the clarinet is similar to the one used in Boss 2 Touhou 17, but I don't have Jazz Clarinet so I improvised xd
When it comes to ethnic flute I preferred to use Bottle Blow, they are somewhat similar so it doesn't affect much the type of sound they emit

This theme gives me the feeling of indicating an end of a style that ZUN forged from HSiFS, WBaWC and just ended in SHoSS. It feels refreshing and at the same time so symbolic...

Personalmente aspiro a llegar a tu nivel de composición, y actualmente intento trabajar con FL, pero digamos que sus herramientas midi por defecto... no hacen que suene muy bonito...Al menos no para música de Touhou.
Estaré muy agradecido si puedes responder.
Uso FL Studio, no sé a lo que te refieres con Player.
FL Studio tiene varias herramientas y plugins que son útiles, pero si lo que buscas es prácticamente tener los mismos VST usados en Touhou es algo complicado.
En las descripciones de mis vídeos dejo los VST e instrumentos que yo uso, en su mayoría son VST que ZUN usa así que puedes sacar provecho de esa información.
