Not trying to be that guy but dark elves don’t want to shroud the realm in darkness. They want to return the light to its natural source while the light elves want to use the light for their own gain. This is why the division happened. The division is when the elves split between light and dark.
One of my favorite things about Ragnorak is how much better the enemy and boss variety is than the previous game, something that really made it feel like a true sequel. I was pretty underwhelmed with the enemy variety in the first game, fighting draugr, ogres, and trolls over and over again got very old.
When I passed the campaign at level 1 I discovered many things about the enemies, weaknesses included, I suppose you make do with what you have at hand, almost all small units such as basic einherjar, raider or light elf are quite fragile to falling If you hit their legs with the axe, the ogres take more stun damage if you hit them in the head right after they make an attack, the wyverns look pretty dumb when you mess up their attack where they start with a flight if you throw the ax at them. spear or axe, nightmares, leeches and will-o'-the-wisps you insta kill them if you use the grip of the swords of chaos against them, the centaur warriors or archers in addition to the horns are very fragile with the stun bar if you hit them on the back, einherjar captains with spears are 100% unbalanced if you parry them when they hit you multiple times with the spear to inflict bifrost, travelers as well as chieftains are extremely slow, making it easy to hit them from a distance or telegraph their attacks, any einherjar that has a helmet if you take it off with the ax or the spear will immediately raise the stun bar, if you hit the shadows just when they are in the air while in a ball you will leave them stunned 100 of the time. You do it, the mist released by the bersgra can be used against it if you set it on fire with your swords, the crias explode when they die and affect all the enemies around them, the seidor with maces are easy to hit when they charge their hammer, The gulons, no matter how much level they have ahead of you, will always be affected by your attacks. The wulvers always make a claw attack after dodging to the right or left, so it is easy to parry them and with strong or runic attacks they can be attacked. resets their attempt to become berserkers, the creatures are easy to destabilize if you launch an attack at the moment they attack, you can take the riders off their mounts with a single draupnir spear that they have embedded, just like the ghosts when Their weak point is exposed, dragons are very exposed if you throw a spear at them when their throat is glowing or when they are flying, drakes have weak points on their legs, trolls are stunned or you interrupt their attack if you hit them. The head, sphere or mini bombs of the light elves affect everyone when they explode, the samurai make you immune to damage if you let them do the cinematic they have when you cover yourself from a certain attack etc etc.
I really like these Knights especially the Black,Golden and Gray/White Knight I wish there were some giants Knights flying with wings similar to angels who use big weapons like: swords, bows and arrows and there are some who use undead horses to walk, fly and fight and they be a little look similar to Death/Grim Reaper like in the movies: the Lords of the Rings/Hobbit,Transformers the Last Knight and in the Castlevania games Lords of Shadows 1 and 2 That has great Black,Golden and White/Gray knights UwU even so it was amazing I just expected more from them until a huge boss battle and a cool detail that It's really cool that these Knights are very similar to Odin's Travellers who are also a kind of smaller soldier Knights an interesting detail to think about and see 🤔😎😌👍like and Bye!
Who would win in a fight? 1000 wretches vs. 20 Gradungr?
Well the gradungrs would just burn and freeze the wretches and they are quite durable creatures so gradungrs win.
All of do some more guides to you know and me types
You pretty please do a guide to sons of a forest
Can you do GOW 2018 Enemy Types & Raganrok Valhalla DLC Enemy Types.
I’m glad someone besides me is acknowledging the Grim as amphibians & not lizards. The wretches are literally the tadpole stage of Grims.
Man, I didn't even know about some of these enemies. Thanks a lot for the info Kris! Keep up the good work!

The Dreki are definitely some of if not the best enemies in the game most specifically design wise
Edit: as well as Nídhögg also rip to her
I was immediately sucked into the game as soon as I saw the Dreki from the reveal trailer Divebomb at Kratos. That was epic!! 🤩🤩
Dam this is a good video underated.

Too bad im on Xbox. I loved God of War Chains of Olympus back in the day on PSP.
Speaking of Xbox, Starfield might be my next project 👀
