Sometimes talking to someone won't help me from the situation. There were times it became worst. But when I started journaling I found the solutions to all my problems and often realise those problems were so silly.thats why I love journaling

    • @dawnsvlog

totally agreed! because it also depends on who's listening, if it's the "wrong" or negative person then it'll just be worse. But journaling always improves our mind and mood after.

Adding to this I suppose I might find it nice if, along with the music, is just some footage of Aileen writing. To make that feeling of doing it with others/not just by yourself stronger.
Could even feature subscribers' footage of them writing for the series as a fun way to engage, idk.

Hi! I'm new to this channel but I have binge-watched like 20 videos already. I must say that the guided journaling is my favorite just because it's easier for me to sit down, answer the prompt. Seeing the clock ticking motivates me.
I lost myself throughout the way, and today's session made me cry. I really want to come back to journaling and seeing how much in my life matters. Thank you for doing this. Sessions like this would help a lot.

So I deeply appreciate this exercise. I'd love to do this every two weeks or every month. It creates space to sit with the feelings that arise and to give time to the inner work that follows 🧡🧡🧡

i really hope you can continue this series! i used to journal a lot, but for various reasons kind of stopped and it was hard for me to get back into it, so this was really helpful.
some insights i got from the first prompt is about what it means to be a positive person. the best compliment i got was from a former lover after we separated and got back in touch, he told me i was the most positive person he knew. and i get that time to time from other people or loved ones, but i think it was special because he thought that even though i had potentially hurt him in the past. and sometimes being called positive was kind of a pressure for me. somehow i got it mixed up in my mind that being positive meant being happy all the time or super cheerful, but i think it's more of a mindset that things will just be okay. i don't know if i would call myself a positive person right now, but i want to set a goal to embody that again.

Hi Aileen. Thank you for sharing this with us. I had a good time writing these and I’d like to share one of my responses with everyone. (Be kind please, this is me being vulnerable here…🥺)
What I used to dream about having in the past that I have now is understanding. I’ll chalk this up to growing pains and going through puberty but I have so much trauma and hurt that I never thought to process and now, thanks to the shadow work and self reflection, I’ve been shown the depth and breadth of my resilience and strength. I understand that I have impulse and control issues due to anxiety that likely stems from ADHD or some other neurodivergency. I am an empathetic, observant and highly sensitive person, and I never thought to describe myself this was in the past. I’ve gained so much through all of this. I’m grateful.

There's nothing hidden. No trouble, no secrets no past. And also the living room's open X-D so I feel more open.

I like the second prompt the most, as it reminds me of things that I shouldn’t take for granted

Hey! I love those journaling sessions, you're making it a very relaxing time of the day, thank you so much! I think that a video like every two weeks is a good deal, like that you have time for yourself and we can try to practice daily waiting for doing that with you.

It's been a while since I've written an entry in my journal. And I did it today with you all, I am so happy. It has been a hard year for me and it's so bothersome because I always knew that journalling would kind of help me, but I always found it so overwhelming. Good thing, I got a notification for this video. Thank you for thiss💕.
I would really love to see more of this because the prompts today was new to my way of journalling and I love it. I am really looking forward for the next ones, hopefully. 💖💖

i liked the third journal prompt, it really got me thinking. i was confused for a bit and didnt know how to give myself the best answer, I just jotted down my first thought. sometimes i just have to trust my first answer.

This was really good. Tough, but good. I found myself having to dig deep in order for me to answer some of prompts but so worth it. Thank you Lavendaire 🔆
