Yeah I can’t stand how all these people like to pretend that properly-functioning kidneys & livers need “help” eliminating waste and toxins from the body even though it already gets help from skin, bladder, colon & lungs.
The only way to “help” your kidneys, liver, colon, bladder & skin is to drink more fluids & expose yourself to less toxins in the first place by choosing/cleaning food more efficiently, filtering your tap water, avoiding heavy air pollution etc

I know from experience that in order for your organs to detox your body sufficiently, you need to have good nutrition including adequate daily water intake along with fruits and vegetables. Taking certain medications can complicate things. I don't entirely agree with people when they say that just because you have a liver and kidneys your body will adequately detoxify; you need to treat your body right so that it is better able to clean itself.

    • @madaraisbetteethannarutohe8136

Yes! You need to support the liver and kidneys with proper nutrition so they can do their job. I hate how detox companies basically convince people eating fruits, vegetables, or high nutrition is useless when they promise results they can’t deliver. Good nutrition is awesome! It’s just not what detox companies tell people it is

This is horrifying. I used to be an RN (technically still have my license) before chronic illness made me unable to work 1 year and a half ago. It burns me up that a nurse who has the responsibility to see to the health of her patients and who has the trust of so many makes a mockery of our profession and causes harm to others with unfounded claims. Evidence-based practice gets hammered into your head in nursing school. There are no excuses. And to take advantage of those who are looking at death from or a life with chronic illness… that is beyond sick.
I do wonder what her actual license is. When I worked in nursing homes myself or when my hospital patients had family members who worked in health care, people with a CNA license would be referred to as a “nurse”. I would almost rather believe that this nurse is someone who went through a nursing assistant program (which is not nearly as in depth… I was a CNA before my RN) and is mislabeling herself and thinks she knows more than she does. It is more disturbing to think that she is someone who went through an actual nursing program and has all the training to know that this is unsafe bull.
Sorry for the rant. I find it so painful that a nurse would be this irresponsible and betray those who trust our profession so much… especially targeting such a vulnerable population.

isn't it, tough? Fruits and Vegs are for the most part pretty cheap and build the foundation of healthy eating.
The only thing is, that healthy ready to eat stuff out of the supermarket is rare. And healthy takeaways are redicolous, compared to the ingredients ( selling for 10++++$, altough the ingredients are literally worth Pennies).
Honestly, if you cook for yourself, healthy stuff can be pretty damn cheap. Talking like 1$. The processed stuff is most of the times much more expansive. It only becomes a problem when you don't cook or have very specific diets. Gluten Free stuff for example usually costs more, altough it's not more expansive to produce and vegan Stuff (vegan sausages, "meats", milks, whatever) are kinda redicolous in Price.

As a medical student, this ... hurts ... a lot. We study for years and years in order to take care of our patients, help them, save them. Seeing someone without the required basic knowledge, saying that she is a 'doctor', taking advantage of the most vulnerable and desperate people just to earn money. What really hurts is that she is lying to them with a smile while leading them to empty hopes, and in some cases even death.
If the solution for weightloss and cancer was that easy, every single doctor on Earth would recomend it, but it's not realistic.
Every single day, medicine improves: new discoveries, new less aggressive but still effective treatments (for example, transarterial chemoembolization (TACE), antineoplastic drugs, promoters of cell differentiation and a long etc. for treating cancer). We need people to belive in science, to trust their doctors and other health proffesionals and to stick to treatment that are proven. We want the best for our patients and we will let you know the best possible treatments.

I would argue that the use of pancreatic enzymes, supplements and coffee enemas are a viable alternative to help cancer patients if made correctly and in the right form that could help many people if given the chance to be properly studied based off the relationship between a cancer cell and a trophoblast cell during fetal development. It is the pancreatic enzymes that signal the trophoblast to stop forming which, if left unchecked, turns into a condition known as choriocarcinoma

I don't know why I'm constantly surprised when people fall for stuff like this. Just the headline alone would cause me to scroll right past it knowing there would be no actual benefit to it yet people not only buy the book but advertise it on national television as this "miracle diet" as a cash grab. This book still has 4 stars on amazon over almost 800 reviews so the overwhelming majority still recommend this book. Why people would rather buy into this rather than look into actual scientific data for weight loss is beyond me.
