It has been since one of my favourite (if not my favourite) heavy/symphonic/power/progressive metal band. Everything has been said about M. Romeo as a virtuoso, etc. But I am sure of one thing : M. Romeo is above all a great great great Composer (yes, with a capital C) who knows precisely what he wants to do. It goes beyond the guitar. He is the music. And this is something that it is too often unnoticed. War of the Worlds Part II is in my line of sight and I just can't wait for it to be released.
Ironically.....whilst other players of the kind lose their mojo, their taste and their criterion, Michael Romeo seems to be at the peak of his playing....it's totally mind-boggling
What a fabulous drums by Macaluso have this theme. A Monster, in the good sense. The entire Album is, imho, the Absolute Champ of the 2022. More Music like this, please!.

i totaly agree whit you symphony x was getting very repetetive and stale you could tell he was done whit that stuff and now he's reborne even in his soloing you could here it he's fresh

That part sounds like it could have been from The Odyssey. But the rest of the song is more towards standard post-Odyssey SX which I'm not really a fan of. That said, we need more of MR out there for sure.

Dino can sing the recipe of a shampoo that he could still give us goosebumps. I'm thrilled with this new Romeo's album and is almost only because of the vocals. Awesome.

Finally - THIS sounds less like "Symphony X light" compared to most 'Michael Romeo' solo songs. Very nice! Love the proggy opening synth, and the "extra" heavy palm muted version of the prior riff at 3:58.

Great melody in the voice.. Drumming was very thoughtful.. Romio was great.. Keyboard was very skillfull specifically to run with the intro riff.. Overall enjoyed
