Evergrey is one of the most impressive bands with outstanding musicians. Listen to them since 20 years. They are absolutely underrated. Tom is one of the most talented singers for me! Glad, Floor joined them, so i hope a lot of people come for floor, and stay for Evergrey too!
My dad is in the hospital, unconscious, connected to mechanical ventilation, and I feel like the lyrics in this songs describe how he must be feeling, and also how I feel when I think of him, when I close my eyes and try to reach him wherever he is. Get well soon daddy

Tom is phenomenal as a vocalist and guitarist. Been a fan since Recreation Day came out. Never disappointed with anything they've done. At least to me, this style suits Floor more. She is a wonderful vocalist, but might not be quite right for Nightwish.
Most underrated band in existence and forever my favorite band! Great tunes, they are all hilarious when you get their DVD, and they are just humble people. I advice everyone to listen to all their albums, you won't be disappointed! Some may even make you shed a tear.

Sorry, but Evergrey was gold as it is, not to bash on Floor, but Evergrey's melody crafting was always top notch, I dare say miles above most of what Nightwish comes up with on a regular basis.

These guys are all top notch musicians. As a bass player, I really appreciate Johan’s playing. He’s not over-the-top, but he uses a lot of nuance to flesh out the bottom end and provide a rock solid foundation on which the other members can shine. I also appreciate the fact that I’ve yet to hear any of that silly growling bullshit that permeates metal these days. So many times I’ve started listening to a song that had a great groove and superb musicianship, only to be ruined by a vocalist who sounds like Cookie Monster swallowed broken glass and chased it with battery acid. Drives me crazy. By contrast, Tom’s vocals are smooth, yet powerful, and his delivery is second to none. I love these guys.
