    why are you using 5v for rc from that place instead of hall cable? right or left

    Hi thank you for your initiave and effort to show us how to connect the RC receiver to the board. I'm wondering if you have another video with an example on how to connect 2 boards with the RC receiver! Again, thank you a lot!

      So I actually was going to do that on my first mower. The green one. But there was too much signal disturbance causing the wheels to jump forward and backwards. I believe as long as you add ceramic capacitors it will help.

    Please, what new firmware have you used?
    Could you put the link?

    after flashing, I connected my rc reciever like this, but it does nothing. I know the receiver works, cause I can connect up to a different project it works.
    when I turn on the hoverboard, I get a rising medly of beeps, instead if just a solid beep. if I just tap it on for just a moment it does the beeps, then the motors go forward and back a couple times then turns off. (a descending medly of beeps)
    any thought? how do I know the flash worked?

    • @speedox3771
      @speedox3771  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have used both boards and not had an issue so far. I believe their are 250 watt or 350watt motherboards. Another thing is if you want to move a lot of weight you do not want to use big wheels. Small wheels are best. For moving weight. If you want your project to go fast. And not carry a lot of weight big wheels are best. Surprisingly with the big wheels I still manage to drive around almost 300 lb on two big hoverboard Wheels. But it did struggle. With the small wheels it had no issue.

    So that first 4 pin connector he soldering is the wire that would connect directly to the rc receiver?

    • @speedox3771
      @speedox3771  หลายเดือนก่อน

      The red wire that I soldered to the chip. Is for power it is the +5 volt the black wire is -5 volt. The green wire is a signal. The blue wire is also a signal. I found it is easier to wire both black RC wires to the single black wire on the hoverboards motherboard then do the same with the red RC wires two to one the one to the chip.

      @@speedox3771 its hard to tell in the video. I saw the circuit board diagram the red wire is the 5v, the blue is the TX, green is the RX and the black wire is the ground. But which wires go to which pins on the RC receiver. I want to connect it to a Flysky FS-iA6B Receiver. But I'm very new to the RC world. If you can help me know how to connect it correctly. I would greatly appreciate it . The reason why i am asking is I want to connect it to a lawnmower using the hoverboard only for the rear wheels and the front as just running on its bearings only. I have very bad allergies. This is why I'm very eager to get this project working soon. Can you make a video with a zoom on how to connect it to a RC. Can I use 1 or 2 pin jst connectors?

      ok maybe you be able to advice thenn... I did build rc 4wd platform. 2 Boards.
      All is working fine but on ful lload (not on str8), only when using turns it simply freaks and cut power to 1 board.
      When the platform is on stands it operates perfect, but when driving and load becoming heavier it has terible problem to make turns sometimes (left wheels backwards right wheels forward). Sometimes I got feeling like on this channel RC used for turnes it when the wheels are powered they dont get enough power as u can hold a wheel with hand!
      Im thinking like the voltage is going to one board.
      I use 2 baterries (thought that 1 be not enough) in paraller. Ground and power from both boards are meetining very close to bateries (well one since they in paralel) .
      Am I making some basic electronic errors? Its just a hobby dont have much time for it so th project is taking me already 3 weeks lol.

    I need to calibrate the voltage meter on my hoverboard motherboard but im not 100% shore what they mean in the code.
    Do you know how to do it?
    // How to calibrate: connect GND and RX of a 3.3v uart-usb adapter to the right sensor board cable (be careful not to use the red wire of the cable. 15v will destroye verything.). if you are using nunchuck, disable it temporarily. enable DEBUG_SERIAL_USART3 and DEBUG_SERIAL_ASCII use asearial terminal.
    // Battery voltage calibration: connect power source. see . write value nr 5 to BAT_CALIB_ADC. make and flash firmware. then you can verify voltage on value 6 (devide it by 100.0 to get calibrated voltage).
    #define BAT_CALIB_REAL_VOLTAGE 42.0 // input voltage measured by multimeter
    #define BAT_CALIB_ADC 1654 // adc-value measured by mainboard (value nr 5 on UART debug output)
    #define BAT_NUMBER_OF_CELLS 10 // normal Hoverboard battery: 10s
    #define BAT_LOW_LVL1_ENABLE 0 // to beep or not to beep, 1 or 0
    #define BAT_LOW_LVL1 3.6 // gently beeps at this voltage level. [V/cell]
    #define BAT_LOW_LVL2_ENABLE 1 // to beep or not to beep, 1 or 0
    #define BAT_LOW_LVL2 3.5 // your battery is almost empty. Charge now! [V/cell]
    #define BAT_LOW_DEAD 3.34 // undervoltage poweroff. (while not driving) [V/cell]
