And of course you shouldn't miss his Pearl Fishers duet with Placido Domingo! Finally his music videos (Be With Me, Love of Tired Swans, When I've got You, and the epic masterwork Story of One Sky) show his inventiveness and acting abilities, and stunning Production values. Every one ofd the above demonstrates some new aspect of his craft, so if you haven't seen them already I think you'd find them (personally and professionally) fascinating. The thing I love about Dimash while discovering him and keeping up with his current performances is that Dimash becomes the songs he sings and in so doing, sings it the way he feels it should be sung to communicate the lyric's meaning. His embellishments to a song come from his emotions "in that moment" and explains why, to me, the same song sounds slightly different at different venues. His performance, his facial and body expressions, emotionally communicate the song's meaning, but the audience feedback, his fans reactions, dynamically add to his songs giving us some beautiful, "in that moment" spontaneous musical expressions that become a sight to behold...and I love it. ❤️ He keeps saying he receives energy and power from his fans and I honestly believe it elevates the emotions he already feels when he sings into something even more special. His famed D8! Singing right off the end of the piano! I have yet to see a higher whistle note in a live performance. Nobody should even be trying this. People typically want to sing between lines of the first and last note on the piano. Not Dimash! The piano means nothing! The rules are for mere mortal...that is not Dimash! Dimash is the world's best vocalist in history as far as I am concerned. King of vocals in my book. I love that he doesn't stick to one genres but brings them all into his music. Too much talent to be boxed in to just Opera or pop. You are right he always makes it look like it's harder for him than it is. But that's the showmanship for him plus he does get into the music and he emotes the feeling of the song.
Great reaction to Dimash, I've been watching his performances and new releases for just a little over 4yrs now and have been enjoying every moment, he never disappoints! Another artist that never disappoints is Faouzia, and I have been waiting for a collab from the 2 of them for roughly 4yrs. This past summer, I almost got my wish, as Dimash returned to The Singer as a guest to sing the duets at the end of the show, and Faouzia was SO close to being selected to sing with him, but he was assigned with another singer instead. (that was disappointing for sure!) If you've not heard of her, you should check her out, she has a fantastic range, she was never trained vocally, only in piano, guitar and violin. She's Moroccan, raised in Canada and speaks English, Arabic and French. Because of being on The Singer 2024 she chose to sing a few songs in Chinese and did extremely well. If you watch her cover of Desert Rose (by Sting) and then her cover of My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (by Fallout Boy, on The Next Singer 2024 where she was now the guest) and you will see why I think she has what it takes to collab with Dimash. 😊❤

Correct. He does throw F7s and G7s around like candy, but not D8s. This was actually meant to have a G7 as well. That's what he tried to sing just before when he was waving his mic, but the note didn't come out and Dimash being Dimash refused to have people remember this performance for him missing a note so he adjusted and went double or nothing.

If we check other versions that Dimash sings of this song (which he wrote when he was younger), we can see a melisma or other very beautiful variations in this part of the "whistle". Here, singing on an open stage and with some discomfort in the return (we can see it several times by adjusting the headphones) we realize, in this specific part of the song, that he is going to do something and, not being able to do what he would like (Perhaps the interference of the audience or the inaccurate response of the sound, a fact that impaired his concentration), he then issued this wonderful and historic C#8 modulated to D8, with vibrato! What is funny about this is this is the rarest of events where his voice actually failed him, I heard this was supposed to of been a f# or g# in the 7th octave when it didn't come out he reset and then over produced to that D8. So his mistake still brought something amazing.
I've listened to Dimash's high notes in that song...or tried to, anyway. I'm pretty sure he's actually hitting notes, not just screeching. Nonetheless, dogs across town started barking.

Correct. He does throw F7s and G7s around like candy, but not D8s. This was actually meant to have a G7 as well. That's what he tried to sing just before when he was waving his mic, but the note didn't come out and Dimash being Dimash refused to have people remember this performance for him missing a note so he adjusted and went double or nothing.

👉 Dimash composed “Unforgettable Day” as he was 19 yr. He sings in his mother tongue Kazakh. Oral Baissengir (father of a friend of Dimash) wrote the lyrics.

A Dear opined that Dimash initially sings an ultrasound 🤣 I think, then he remembers that we humans can’t hear it and gifted us a D8 (out of piano) and he held it for “endless” long 5 seconds. This is a world record. Nobody has ever sung this high note in a live performance (captured on video for eternity). The shaking of the microphone is not only a cool effect, but also shows that he is singing live (is often doubted).
This event was the 3rd Open Air Music Festival organized by Gakku TV on September 16, 2017 in Almaty, Kazakhstan - (2015 - 40,000 spectators, 2016 (1000 years of Almaty) - 90,000 spectators.
2017 - Dimash was announced and 150,000 came. A Kazakh Dear wrote, the city center was completely paralyzed because of the many people. The concert lasted 6 hours. Dimash sang 5 songs.

What is funny about this is this is the rarest of events where his voice actually failed him, I heard this was supposed to of been a f# or g# in the 7th octave when it didn't come out he reset and then over produced to that D8. So his mistake still brought something amazing.
I've listened to Dimash's high notes in that song...or tried to, anyway. I'm pretty sure he's actually hitting notes, not just screeching. Nonetheless, dogs across town started barking.
Did you notice him wiggle the mic just before the whistle note? As though he tried it once and it didn't take, so he tried again.
