I also suggest you glue the hand raills at the cab they are very lose
I think they need to stay loose as per the instructions. Otherwise, you won't be able to access the DCC socket to chip or unchip the locomotive.
The kato cv3 might work
I would doubt it. The CV3 curves are 183mm radius.
