It's insane, even more funny considering how much they gave us of everything. Raised platforms, but also water on HT for bosses to go in for free lures, no bad Snatchers, literal Flyfish and Stinger going to the Grizzco canon, Lids not stopping from spawn until they're already pretty close, platforms to help climb sticks, and probably more I'm forgetting They really wanted us to rain this guy with eggs
My teammates kept drawing geillers to thr exact same pillar instead of alternating between them so the eggs were next to impossible to actually collect 😭
I remember when I got 200 eggs on my first shift this big run, the only thing that was going through my mind was "man, overfishers are probably going to get 300+ eggs on this" And here we are
And here I was so proud of my highscore of 188! 😆 But I only play with rando's in freelance, so there's that. This is amazing! The most amazing part to me is that even though you guys can communicate, you barely do because you just don't even have to. Everyone knows what they're doing. It's almost mesmerizing to watch you splat every boss before they can even attack, clearing the entire field without breaking a sweat. Edit: Okay seeing you guys take down the 3 bosses with ease and plenty of time left and still only get bronze and silver makes me feel a bit "better" about never winning gold. It's messed up man, even after the rewards from this event I'm still more than 200 gold short for the banner I want. They could really stand to increase the drop rate a little.
I love watching the overfishers work. Just seeing the absolute heights you can get to in the game. And its peaceful ASMR somehow lol. I got top 3% using the techniques i learned so it definitely helps

(Also I laughed at the times trying to guess what the Night Wave was going to be). Easily my best Big Run. I had a high score of 221. Was at EVP999 relatively quickly and was playing Hazard Level MAX for the second half of it - big moment was finally managing to defeat Triumvirate at HLM for the first time (actually I did it three times) and claiming the helicopter reward.
Sounds like you and I had a really similar experience! I was playing with my brother and we made it to hazard level max and VP 999 for the first time and got a high score of 215. We also beat the triumvirate for the first time and several times more, and what’s even cooler was that our victories were on HLM! This big run was so fun and I’ll definitely never going to be able to play salmon run the same…
While I’m still happy with my high score of 168, seeing y’all’s high scores is incredible! So cool to see what can be done with a high skill level and consistently reliable teammates! Seeing how you played with the Grizzco charger was definitely helpful cause I always struggle with it due to its high ink consumption. You only get like 7 shots in a row at a full tank before having to refill and I’m not very good with ink management with weapons like that especially when getting swarmed :’)
Damn, they doubled my record everytime XD Jokes aside I enjoyed this big run a lot, and it was super easy to get crazy scores and the map display with the platforms and cannons was surprising. The worldwide milestones and the scale payments were brilliant

Some really insane plays there for sure! Even defeating Triumvirate so easily and quickly, just making it look so easy! 145 was my best score and i somehow managed to get a Triumvirate win with randos, making it my first King Salmonid taken down.
Man more than half my goldies would only Drop 1 golden egg 😢 so I maxed out at 211 or my friends would kill far from basket or Canon even though I'd always call out goldies. Great job dude! Amd who ever said sorry you carried that wave you are fine lol

got my high score for this Big Run in my last four shifts, played entirely with randoms and we got a 212. thinking about how far a casual (me) can go, i was hyped to see how far an overfisher could take it and here we are!!!!!
This was the event where i finally reached EVP 999. Beat 7 HLM runs and had so much fun. High score of 203 eggs, and beat my first triumvirate too!! I think this was the perfect Big Run Finale.
I hate how little communication options this game has I'd love a button that either says I'm going for (boss) or highlights them to show the other players to not go there as well (kinda like how multiple players tend to go for the same stick and waste time)
I wish i got to play this, but i was out of the country. I'm incredibly jealous, everyone says it was so much fun Worst part is, i managed to play one round that i disconnected from at the results screen, so i didn't even get the scales as a reward
my high score was 226 ,,, i already knew i coulda done better LOL but solo is a bit more difficult defeated 4 triumvs on max hazard as well (defeated 6 in total) :D tried to help a friend with it too but sadly it didnt work out x_x i want to try overfishing one day too . i just hope my social anxiety doesnt get in the way / i dont need to vc lmao

Worth being up at 7AM I guess I love how the side canons were so alluring that I often found myself throwing to them when I could've just as easily thrown into the basket. Brain like shiny thing too much I guess. Do you know if you ever got a 100+ grillers? That 99 was tragic :(
yeah i know making multiple comments under one video is cringe but if I was to put this into one comment there’s no way you’d read it all considering that this is (probably) the last big run maybe you can try viewer challenges for salmon run since there ain’t really a big run to look forward to (dear god i have only watched your channel for like 5 days and i’m already seeing the small optimisation patterns what the hell have you done to me)
Even without Big Run we'll still continue pushing Overfishing as much as we can. Big Run was always just a (very cool!) bonus to that goal. So even without I'll still practise regularly and push normal shifts. So for now it doesn't really free up time for challenges I'm afraid, sorry. But, if I do have time free I might try them out someday

you don’t even need to be much of high-level salmon run player to realise that this big run especially was pretty easy obviously grizzco weapons are one of the main factors of that but also the egg cannons help as well since you’re pretty much never really running into transportation problems or egg shortages (maybe the devs wanted to make it easier cuz it’s right before splatfest who knows) 12:05 also didn’t you say that the host has to pick up the eggs since there’s no delay (the delay is kinda noticeable here)
Overall, yes! But like with many things there are some asterisks for (non)host play. Having a scrapper on me I want to go basket to get it as close as possible. So it's only faster to multitask things at basket while it comes, as opposed to not getting the egg. Similarly other players are busy, so I can't really leave the scrappers while they're stunned. In general host play really because vital in a few crucial moments. Things like 10 egg Goldies, Mothership ending (when many eggs land close to basket after it leaves). And what I think happened mostly in the other video is you wanna of course avoid your host player going out to kill bosses at the end of the wave if there's already too many eggs on basket.
