    Thanks for the video, it is interesting to know the torque but will be an estimation value, because you are not considering the wind turbine spinning, which will totally change the value, for many reasons, but just to tell two of them;
    1- The profile lift force changes with the relative speed that the edge of the foil sees.
    2- The inertia. If the wind turbine is spinning to certain RPM and the wind velocity is X. The increase of revolutions per minute are not the same increase of revolutions that the turbine would have obtained if it had been stationary.
    So as an engineer I must say this simulation is not fully valid. But for sure helps to understand a lot of things. Thanks for the video.

      Hello Robert,
      Thanks for putting more light on the simulation. Although I'm just beginning to learn the process, but do you mean that the wind velocity of 10 m/s used in the simulation did not cause any rotational effect on the rotor assembly, or you are only pointing out that the rotational speed was not selected as a goal in the simulation? Please kindly enlighten me. Thank you.

      ​@@abdulmalikmusa6889 I mean, your values are probably OK for a static wind turbine. In reality is spinning, so the relative velocity that the profile see is going to change the direction if the RPM and/or the wind speed changes, moreover to add more complexity to the equation, the relative velocity is the one that generate lift and drag on the blade, the lift underneath the blade is what actually responsible of produce the majority of the force on the blade, which is translated into torque in the shaft. Exactly the same effect that allow a plan to fly.
