Hey Sir, can i ask a question?
Can i make double wind source using only one wind tunnel? I'm an undergraduate student, and i'm researching a VAWT implementation on center of toll road, so there will be 2 wind direction

you should put the solidworks file of the vertical axis wind turbine

I'm trying to find a technique whereby I can do a motion study, then do a flow sim (full re-mesh each run) at each motion 'snap-shot' time instant. This should be do-able to flow sim of more complex moving geometries. Any suggestions?

Hi, do you know of any way to put a 3d model into a program and simulate wind on it, so it moves as if it was real wind?... I'm interested in making wind spinners and seeing how they would move in real wind...

hi, did you find a way to simulate that, i've been searching too

@@omerkagan3653 Unfortunately not. Such programs must exist, I'm sure people use them when designing technology. Maybe there is just little demand for the general public to use them. I expect some games already have used simulated wind type physics - they use all sorts of other projectile physics - should just be able to make the wind a load of minuscule projectiles (which is what it actually is - air molecules) and it would work very close to reality. Just need to assign the physical properties to the 3d model and wind particles - in theory. I want to make a propeller that will spin in the same direction no matter which direction the air is directed on it. A program like that linked to a 3D modelling program would really help. Could just keep tweaking the design until it works, without needing a degree in fluid dynamics.

@@Lloyd.B. i didnt have much time as searching for it but found a video "th-cam.com/video/xIT1X6_idCE/w-d-xo.html" fast forwarded it and saw a turning propeller and some airflows, i actually don't know if its useful or not but wanted to share it with you, also your project sounds so cool and unique, hope you find a way to make it happen and i see your design live on future one day!

@@omerkagan3653 Looks well complicated whatever they are using. It's obviously simulating wind and it's interacting with the propeller model. It's only one more step to let the wind move the model. Someone should just make a simple program for doing it. Where you choose wind direction and strength and weight of 3d model - and maybe resistance of any rotating parts of the object. Those 3/4 are all that I would need or want. CGI people use simulated wind and water vs 3d models all the time for films. I haven't looked into it for it for a long time. Not in the mood for 3d modelling anyway, it's too frustrating because I'm too lazy to learn the program properly.

If you're looking to make a good design for a Wind turbine. Look at a black hole. tornado hurricane Whirlpool. All the same design and they all have the ability to Consume massive amounts of energy.
