    You did a great job on this video, very informative and helpful. If I was to purchase one I would buy the Bass Pro shop because I don't clean a ton of fish and you sold it well. Great job keep doing what your doing.

      Thanks, man!
      I’m happy to have both of these knives, but if I wasn’t wanting to do the comparison, I would’ve never bought the Bubba after having already owned the XPS.
      The bubba is an amazing knife, but probably overkill and over priced for the average guy!
      Thanks again for a solid review on my video and for taking the time to watch it!!!

    For the price, you could by two of the Bass Pro's and have two batteries and six blades! Thanks for the video, I also got one for Christmas

      That’s exactly right… I have the Rapala R12HD as well now. I will be doing a comparison soon on it… But spoiler… I think the bass pro is still the best deal…

    Unfortunately, the bass pro knife seems to be unavailable.....discontinued? Dunno, but it's vanished from the website

      Lol… Yeah it looks that way… I saw them in store not long ago… But they may have been discontinued or possibly being upgraded…
      I really love this knife, so I hope that they are upgrading, rather than discontinuing.

    Which one would you recommend for shanking?

    • @NOMADFISHERMAN
      @NOMADFISHERMAN  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That’s a great question…
      While neither are a preferred shank or shiv, due to blade flexibility, if I were going into battle and only had these two knifes at my disposal… I’d recommend the bubba blades for three reasons…
      1. It’s sheer size makes it ideal for both blocking incoming attacks and the ability to deliver blunt force trauma should the battery die… 2. It has a little trigger guard to keep you safe during those most exuberant battles… and lastly, 3. If the name “bubba” doesn’t scream white trash warrior, I’m not sure we can even be friends…
