Gok is the kindest gentleman there is . I think to be a wonderful wedding consultant, you have to be sweet and read that brides need to feel the type of love and kindness for that time to make these young women feel special. Not one of these brides has been a BRIDEZILLA , Thank you 🙏 all for your kindness. Sometimes, it's the only special day in the ladies life.

bride number two with dress 203, the consultant totally listened. She made sure with zillions of pins that it fitted beautifully before she was allowed to look at herself. Then the skill of finding the dress with all the elements.the bride wanted. Very well done.
Exactly. You beat me to it. She's really a star. She found exactly what the bride was looking for and more ❤ and never judged the indecisions or over thinking of the bride. A wonderful consultant.

Hey mums! Unless a dress is absolutely hideous or does not suit the occasion, shut up! It is not your wedding - you had your day! Let your daughter have her day. Give her love and support in her decision only.
I agree completely with you. My mum came with me, went along with whatever I wanted to try and was supportive the whole time. She never made it about herself. Some of these women seem to think that their opinions should outweigh the bride’s.

The first bride who tried on 300 dresses - there is no way I would still be shopping woth her. I know it's her anxiety, but I would have tapped out after 10. Her bridal party are gold.
I think I tried on two dresses, in reality it may have only been one, lol. It got the job done

Yes, but that doesn't mean that with the input of the entourage, that the bride chose and voluntarily brought along, quite a few brides finally do find a dress, that's actually better than the first one or two. Those, who love her, want her to shine best she can.
But of course there are some weird family members or even 'friends', that push their ideas regardless of how they look on the bride.
I sympathize with Sarah. I’ve been in those shoes before, having your whole world upended. I’m happy for her.

Love the bridal pick around 14:20. You could see it was her dress just by the way she stepped up onto the round dais. She strode up there with confidence and conviction. Usually you can see the right dress in the woman's smile. This time it was in her walk.
This bridal shop in Lancashire is my favorite amongst all of the Say yes to the dress franchise, their dresses are always so tasteful, and Gok just works his magic everytime, never have I seen a tacky dress in this shop, nor a horribly overpriced one, all the dresses are stunning!!
Savannah's gown is not only beautiful, it is perfect for her. The colour, shape, fit... Probably the most gorgeous gown I have seen.

My heart breaks for Jacynthe her mother sounds like a tyrant. It’s no wonder the poor sweetheart hasn’t developed an ED. She is already so skinny. It’s normal to have a little pooch, it’s HUMAN. I’m so happy her mother wasn’t at the appointment. She really needs to distance herself from her mother.
OHH I’VE JUST SEEN THE VERY END OF IT AND SHE CHOSE THE DRESS THAT SHE TRULY LOVED. Ohh thank goodness!! Her friends better keep her mother in check!!

At 78, living alone, I binge watch Gok & Curvy Brides Boutique. Why? I am soaking up all the confidence building comments, the finding the beauty in every woman. I NEVER got that (quite the opposite!) when growing up or when younger. I watch, smile & feel happy. I believe it. Never too late!

I love long sleeves they are timeless
I hate the circular pedestal on which the bride is standing in her dress. Most dresses are longer than they need to be, which means they will be shortened so that the bride doesn't step on them. But it is not shortened yet on the base, so it optically lengthens the lower part of the dress (and the body) and makes the legs seem longer. The result after adjusting the length of the dress can look quite different and it can be disappointing for the bride. When trying on the dress (when choosing it), they should adjust the skirt to the actual final length with the help of pins in the front, however inconvenient it may be for the seller.
A dress that is tulle would be ruined with multiple pin holes plus the dress they try on is NOT the dress they buy it is a SAMPLE so they can't make adjustments except with clips around the bodice. Once the dress is ordered then actual adjustments can be made..

I actually thought Sacha's bust looked better before the wedding 🤔 after the final alteration it looked kind of squeezed and small.
Thats exactly what I thought. Didnt do her any favors there. But I suppose it might have felt better to her without the gapping.
I agree, I thought they took it in too much and it ended up cutting her in an unflattering way on her bust. I thought the shape was absolutely perfect in the beginning. I love how they te did the back!
It may not be the final alteration, rather the way it was laced by the family.... It changes the fit so much!

And I and others don't agree at all. We loved that dress with and without that overskirt. Having two matching styles made it even more special.

Just extremely insecure and self aware. But weirdly enough also quite selfish. Those appointments cost the bridal shops money. Every bride walking out of the door after trying on 10 or more dresses is costly time wasted with nothing in return. To do that to so many bridal shops is truly mean. I think anyone putting on more than 20 dresses ought to pay for every next one they try on. It's a lot of work! That ought to make them think twice, before trying anything on.
Rule of thumb: first hour free, all hours after that for a fair hourly rate for all involved.
