Damn I wish I could race in your lobbies 😂. We're doing sub 2:10's here in NZ and AUS. Also I've got soft tyres to last 4 laps but I also use Tcs. My strat is use mediums till they turn yellow then swap for softs. Also the key to this track is to be smooth and consistent. It's better to reel it in a little and just try your best to be consistent and smooth and you'll find you'll actually go faster. Edit: just also want to point out that getting the lines on this track are very important on this track and you were doing a good job of showing exactly where to go
haahahha first time my lobbies have been rough lol. Soft to last 4 laps like what lol. I barely get them past 2 lol. Guess like you say TC helps a lot. keeps the rear in check. Thats fair, I try to be smooth and consistent. The consistent part i do struggle with but that will come with time. Thanks bud much appreciated :D
@@Flashms I know you like your hard tyres, but I find them particularly slow on this track. I get about 2s / 4s better lap times out of the medium / soft tyres. I also never had problems getting 4 laps out of the softs without drop offs in the last lap. I even tried 5 laps on them once. The last lap was very sketchy and more than 6s slower than the rest, but overall it is still a bit faster than using mediums for that stint if you can manage to avoid the walls ;-)
last lap was sketchy lmfao true words right there lol. I mean I calculate how much slower I am per lap to people on mediums, then work out average race time, and then yeah math the F out of it lmfao. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose. no different than being on medium tires. Oddly enough, I am much more consistent and faster on medium or hards than i am on softs. Which is really why i play the long game.
Give inexperienced sim racers cars with over 600Hp, almost no downforce, and skinny tires and put them on a track that has walls on both sides of it half the time, there wasn’t really any other way this was gonna go… 1:05
Ahhaahhahaha that’s very very true. Safe to say I got heated by the end of the day lmfao. They are fun to drive and the track is stunning. Visually like when you are at the top of the hill. The view is incredible. But yeah I do agree with you there lol
I haven't have time yet, Xmas coming up been really busy with the kids lol. I will get round to it. But as you can understand, busy time of the year lol
anyone else having an issue where contact physics with other cars don’t affect you but they are impacted by you, i was able to drive straight through people no penalty, ive only had it happen once on this track
Sounds like a weird bug. Could be a ping issue too. I have seen it once or twice. Once I have seen a car smash others of the track. But from their point of view they was not even close to the other drivers. Yeah weird lol.
I’m not the best road racer I don’t even think I’ve cracked 2:15 however some of these people good lord I’m thankful I’m on a wheel, controller for me no matter what is unstable with little bit of contact, usually someone trying to wreck me wrecks themselves when I’m on a wheel. But I mean half the field just loops it off the start, a parking lot at martinsville, than again coming out of turn 2 I believe climbing up the hill again parking lot occurs, I had an S license but I guess I’ll take A for now. Being a nascar guy this car and track is fun I just have no idea how I’m supposed to gain nearly 10 seconds the car doesn’t have enough grip I mean If I spent 2 hours in practice I believe I could get into the 2:10-2:12 if I’m lucky close to 2:08 but 2:04s……HOW you gotta be damn near flooring it the whole way through I don’t get it.
i have only tried controller once, but i am myself on a wheel, i do hear changing the settings from sim to normal steering helps a lot on controller stability. Yeah i gave up caring what the SR says, I think i am on A I never check anymore, doesn't mean anything lol. Tuning helps a lot. MY first tune was dreadful, then i used another tune and its far more stable. Worth checking that out. Still tail happy but yeah tuning made a difference. Yeah the parking lot is pretty funny, everyone just sends it in. Like take a step back, entering and being part of the problem isnt going to fix the problem lol.
The fastest lap I’ve seen on a lobby was 2:08 and that was super rare because usually only 2:10-2:11 are the lap times. I could get 2:10 to 2:09 with a keyboard tho
@ Forza Motorsport really is good for keyboard players honestly cuz it allows me to compete competitively unlike other racing games, where it really needs a steering wheel. I play assetto corsa competizione on a keyboard too. It’s just nowhere near to a good lap time. Always 4-7 seconds off. So There’s this method I call tap-tap where you constantly tap and tap the keyboard to steer wisely. Just a lot of practice. But honestly I don’t think I’ll be good on a steering wheel tho 😂
thats great to hear, man playing AC on a wheel to is crazy man. lol yeah true there is method in the madness. seems like you got it down to a T though. hahaha thats nuts. I played on controller last night. I sucked so dont worry. I am to used to a wheel
@@Flashms I know the game doesn't save anything while playing offline, but do you know if you can use (while offline) the cars that you bought and customized when you were previously online?
Yeah that should not be a problem. And the game will save offline. Then once you are online again it’ll update the online save with the new progression. Save as online. Anything online will work offline.

yeah thats possible and insane, with balls of steel lol

Learning the track? Look for the video "This is Mount Panorama This is Bathurst" Also watch the Bathurst 1000, 2024
Smashing thank you
