Avoidable yeah. Just a mistake on our part. It happens, rare though. I am usually far more passive and would back out even if I am in front. This occasion obviously i didn’t back out lol
Bad luck at the corkscrew. Maybe you could have stayed a little bit more left but this corner gets awfully tight and close racing can lead to unfortunate situations. About the tires (also in the second race): I’m totally with you. My pace on softs oddly sucks sometimes and overall on mediums I am not that much slower and I hate to gave to slide around during the last lap. The compromise does just not work my way.

Still others have said they may have also tried to squeeze me as they didn’t turn at the top so maybe that be the reason why the collision was so brutal. Yeah same mate. That’s great to hear. It’s practice really. Getting used to where you need to brake and turn. A few laps should do it. I suggest learning Watkins glen short first. Quite easy that track to get to grips with. Such as the ambulance as a braking point. Soon as you see the hut. Start applying full power. After that 200 meter board for braking. Then you get used to after a few laps. It’s hard at the beginning when you turn the braking line off. But you will soon get quickly used to looking for items on the track to mark a point in braking and cornering. Such as kerbs. Signs. Huts. Houses and trees lol.
No ones fault there, it was a racing incident, plus entering the corkscrew the track becomes abit of a bottle neck as it is, I usually try and hold position behind through the corkscrew and try and get em on the exit. Good racing.
thanks bud, I did have a better run and beat them to the top, you can see in my point of view it looked like i gave them space, while in the replay it shows me cutting them off basically lol. Another person mentioned, maybe their intention was to squeeze me, which is why when we got to the top, they didnt turn. Who knows. but thanks, I try to stay clean
@Flashms yeah I saw he got abit of a scwerm on coming out of that kink in the run upto the corkscrew but I still think you are been abit hard on yourself buddy. I didn't see anything wrong with your line, you was attacking hard and he was defending hard and you had a coming together, its just one of those things. I think he did squeeze you abit as he was desperately trying to keep hold of position into the corkscrew but I also don't think he did it maliciously. As I say for me it was just a racing incident. It was good of you to reach out to him after the race. Had that been me I would've appreciated that gesture.

I think its best to reach out, because maybe from their screen they saw something different. It wasnt until I saw the reply and though ah, it looks worse from that point of view than my bonnet cam, I hope they dont think I am a rammer lol. I have not heard back, but maybe they will see the video, Who knows lol
Tcr sucks until matchmaking works. All of the most fun races are ruined by people who's brain operates about a second behind their eyes. At least you can get some space in the GT divisions.
I love tcr man. Ok yeah I do agree with the matchmaking issue though. Really S class should be elite tier. Hard to obtain but again. I think qualifying in a separate lobby and then being placed in with people with similar lap times so then your competitive in your own times. I find gt divisions far worse than tcr. But again we race at different times.
