1. I'm an idiot 2. the first post was an un-funny joke about the anime Buddy-fight *Vanguard* (as per the "its a cool card game" part) 3. your right, I haven't read the rules since they came out 4. but unless it changed or i'm mistaken , the healing of others stamina points is an envoy only thing, so it seemingly strong to give to a dedicated tank.
Hey guys... per paizo the entropic strike replaces damage done by a weapon. It doesn’t add it as a damage modifier. Thats the way it is explained on the paizo thread.
Earning EP is a little difficult in actual practice, well, if you build it tanky rather than a light armor monk. Just trading in RP kinda sucks (one RP and a move action for one EP, and two RP later).
@@Althaven_ Great videos, but please hold your horses on PF2, they just announced a monumental change to the rules following a big long chunk of playtest and it looks as if they are tackling every single thing that ppl didn't like initially. I like the class overall and I'm waiting until Nov to play Starfinder again, but there are some glaring holes in this class that I have a serious problem with. First I'd like to thank Paizo for actually playtesting these 3 new classes, you should've done that with the orig SF classes, but whatever. Don't like the "significant enemy" BS, just as I don't like it on Solarian. Choosing between doing double damage on crits or gaining a point of EP is pretty bad as usually ending the fight is better than securing more "weaboo fightin' magic" points.
What do you think of the Vanguard?
Its a cool card game, but the rules are weird to me and there is overarching story, so meh.
Oh... ok (just watched the vid.) Inversion vanguard seems strong, i heared regen-ing stamina points is hard to come by.
@@fakename9820 the Envoy can also do it relatively easily. In any case... what rules are "weird"? all rules are "weird" when you don't know them, lol

@@fakename9820 Yeah it's still pretty strong, you are right about that. I didn't know the anime reference srry :D
Go over them all! Min-max examples, fun builds, themed builds!
In Starfinder the three types of armor are light, heavy, and powered.
I think indigo is getting 3 different games mixed up. Thanks for the correction
@@Althaven_ this is perfectly understandable. Some of the rules are very similar, I get confused all the time!
I'm surprised the vanguard, of all thing, doesn't get powerarmor proficiency.
@@fakename9820 just use a feat at 5lvl.
@@williampope8818 I didn't know the system very well.
Vanguard motto: What doesn't kill me better f$%king run.
Hahahaha! If this doesn't appear in the final print of the class, I will be SEVERELY disappointed!

Love watching you guys. Will watch all the way to 20th lv so give us all the options
The capstone doesn't sound like it blocks normal damage, just everything else.
Starfinder, paizo's better attempt at making a new edition vs 2e.
Wasn't gonna say it, but like...yeah, kinda. So far.
@@Althaven_ maybe a video delving into 1e vs 2e? Would be risky and piss some people off, but those are the best imo
Maybe after 2e officially comes out. Since we just got to see the playtest

The vanguard looks so fun to play 👏🏼
But tbh I can’t really picture what a vanguard looks like 🤔
What do you guys think vanguard are based of?
I'm not gonna pretend that I know what inspired Paizo, but I personally think of Marvel's Thanos. :)
I realize I’m very late to the party but I would love to see more videos surrounding the vanguard

I want to hear your thoughts on the Warpwitch
Already recorded it, look forward to a Friday release! :)
Hmmmmm not sure if I'm personally feeling the vanguard
Based on another comment.... I wonder how you currently feel about pathfinder vs full release 2e
Go over it all. You asked. I did.
They seem really strong
There is no medium armor...?
Is ThIs ChAoS pAlAdIn?!?!?!
