    Oh driving rFactor and Targa Florio brings tons of memories. Drove it endless in the CSGT WSC 1970 mod especially in the Porsche 911S and Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/3. Unfortunately the Targa-mod for Assetto Corsa is in beta-version and not as good as the GTR2 and rFactor1 versions, but driving the 1966 Alfa Romeo GTA with 900° steering wheel, real clutch and enormous FFB at standard G27 H-shifter rig is still hell of fun!

    O.K. really cool simulator!
    Some questions but first a suggestion, I have a suggestion and this comes from a point of view that I like the way you set up the camera and the whole thing is really fun.
    So, how about making it truly authentic; use a helmet that would be car and period correct and suit and gloves...
    Also add some more sounds like the wind and maybe cars honking and fans yelling...
    Questions about the sim...
    • Can you set the sim to have tire wear?
    • How about fuel usage?
    • Is there steering feedback?
    • What other cars are available?
    • Can you set the weather and or day, night, dusk setting's?
    Thanks in advance!

    Very smooth, and a great save at 42:11! Only one spin, and no serious offs in 40-some minutes of pretty flat-out going -- I think you've done this before...
    How do you access the Targa circuit in rF, and could you describe your rig (including computer, OS, and graphics card), please?
    Great stuff!

    They shouldnt flicker in cockpit view.
    If they do, just edit the vehicle cam file (clip planes)
    see description on targa page on rfactorcentral.

    Hi! I'm following your channel for months and this is maybe my prefered video...but I can't understand what mod it comes from... You usually use the HGTTC v1.95, but is there the 908 in it? I have found a 908 in the WSC 70 Mod, so I'd like to know wich is this one. :) Thanks, keep sharing. This video are very appreciated!

    I really like this... However, the sim is so sterile the actual real event was chaotic! animals on the road, horse and cart moving along the road, slow traffic, and so on... Would be better if the sim was updated-revised to include these "surprises" around every corner! Watch this video-documentary about this event: th-cam.com/video/pF_oF-ZMhD0/w-d-xo.html

    Dude, why are you wearing gloves ? :D :D its just a game :D

    • @NicolasSoto19
      @NicolasSoto19 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Some people want to simulate more the driving, but there also people, who even take too serious about simulation, and then are telling to the keyboard players that they must drive with wheel, only because "is a simulator, not Need For Speed". A guy in a server told me something like that, i drive with keyboard, but i prefer so much more, enjoy the cars, and beat my self, that waiting for a wheel. Well, have a good day and a great year :D

    • @worldhello1234
      @worldhello1234 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Nicolas Soto Yeah, and he will give them the money for a decent wheel which is 350 bucks for a complete G27 Logitech set and about 600 for a complete Thrustmaster set. :D A simulation is not restricted to a wheel. I drive via gamepad btw. :D

    • @ChaosZero.
      @ChaosZero. 8 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Or maybe, MAYBE, wearing gloves reduces the sweat so that you can have a firm grip on the wheel and not have it slipping away from your hands in the middle of a corner.

    • @brandono6718
      @brandono6718 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I had a big sigh after reading this comment, I know this was 4 years ago but think of the reasons that real drivers use gloves, just like ChaosZero mentions it helps you get a firm grip on the wheel and not only that, it can prevent you from getting blisters and messing up the skin on your hands. I have done a lot of sim driving without gloves and it can roughen up the skin on the outer side of your thumbs, driving with gloves helps with this. Also sim racing isn't just like other gaming you see like these silly shooting games. In sim racing (If you have a wheel and pedals) you are replicating the exact physical movements that you would in a real car hence "sim" which obviously stands for simulator. You would be surprised how accurate these simulators are and that they are actually used as training tools for real drivers.

    • @nicholasduplessis6014
      @nicholasduplessis6014 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@brandono6718 I agree with your comment. As far as I can judge, he is using a direct drive wheel. It sets out a lot more power than the Logitech and Thrustmaster wheels which are belt or gear driven. A direct drive wheel can easily damage your skin or even break your wrist if you don't have a good grip on it and something happens that causes the wheel to spin.
