As a straight man, I could honestly say with no hesitation that I think Javier is one of the most sexiest men in the film industry. I believe he was 38 or 39 at this point. Very handsome indeed.
No. He is an abaolutely beautiful man. Deep, rugged voice, gorgeous eyes, his nose has been broken many times, perfect lips, lovely hair. Perfect. Flawless. He is not a pretty boy. He is rugged and handsome. Look up young pics of him. He is NOT ugly!
i work on the sound department in films, and it is very refreshing to hear an actor aknowledging that the actor is only one small part of a production. he is an amazing actor, and still humble and aware of how challenging hiw profession is while still being humbe about his success.
Joy Hana I speak 5 languages and find that learning languages gives you the deepest insight inside a foreign colture, you'll really understand how different the world is if you don't learn some of a population's language. In this respect americans, english, australians and such are really unlucky because most think that for them it's not necessary to learn a foreign language.
I think the confusion lies in the part where he says "I don't care about planes, trains, etc, but I care about cars". As a Spanish speaker I think he meant to say that plains, trains, etc. don't scare him but cars do. He cares about his safety when getting into one.
Man, you said it. That dude brought me back watching those spaghetti westerns as a kid from the moment I saw him playing Anton. I would love to see him play a desperado again in a Western movie.
I thought this too for a second but he says he 'cares' about cars the second time - as in he's worried by them, but not worried by planes, ships, other forms of transport.
Well, if I have a chance to interview or seeing him in person and asking so many questions about the best picture of the year: No Country For All Men! YOU ROCK, JAVIER!
That's so funny. All the time since I've seen him in VCBarcelona - To me he's so reminiscent of Pacino - almost like he could be his son or something in a film -
I adore him like an actor, a handsome man and the funniest thing is that my husband is very like him.... Beautiful soul, great actor and special man...
@NotYourAverageJoe321 how did you deduce this from just one sentence?! If I see an interview with Audrey Hepburn on TH-cam, I may also write something like "omg, she's SO beautiful!" - and that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate her as an outstanding actress.
Yes I know exactly how it is to express myself in another language. English is not my first language either so I know how confusing it can be sometimes especially when you're a bit nervous, but the thing is that he spoke english pretty well throughout the whole interview and didnt have any problems with finding the right words or anything, he just continued to talk about vehicles and even changed his opinion about cars in few seconds which does sound pretty dumb.
Interviewer: How did you get to this stage of being one of the greatest actors? Bardem: I got here the same way the coin did... Imagine how that would have turned out!
Watching again this part, I'm convinced that he was not any dumb, He's able to recognize an amazing car even disliking cars. I myself hate bikes, but I know how amazing were the 60's Harley Davidson's. He said he's afraid of cars (and this is irrational as any fear) but someday he will have to take his license (because he knows how important is to drive). But I think he was joking. I myself like cars, but I'm stupidly afraid of them, I swore to myself that I will never drive one.
@Masterchickens I agree with you, dude, and you know what? I think Javier Bardem is an excellent actor, but the accent still has me bothered, because while Roland isn't necessarily from the US, he is from Gilead. Now, if Roland, born in raised in Gilead, goes around speaking with an accent, won't that mean everyone from Gilead will have an accent? Because if they don't, it'll be even less logical, because then Roland is going to be walking around speaking with an inexplicable accent.
@NotYourAverageJoe321 dude, you've called this person dumb for absolutely no apparent reason. And it doesn't matter, if she (I assume that it was a girl commenting) is 12 or 52 and if she has seen any of Javier Bardem's movies. You're just projecting your hatred upon her.
For me he is the manliest, most attractive and intelligent man alive ❤️
His voice, the way he expresses himself, the accent...
(After the interview)
Bardem: "What's the most you ever lost on a coin toss?"
Interviewer: "Sir?"
+MrZer000 Badass! That was really funny and cool. Good one, sir.
*Flips coin*
Bardem: Call it..
That made me laugh out loud, thank you!
As a straight man, I could honestly say with no hesitation that I think Javier is one of the most sexiest men in the film industry. I believe he was 38 or 39 at this point. Very handsome indeed.
He's the greatest spanish actor in history, thus far. We love you Javier. Te lo mereces!!!! Sigue inspirándonos a todos!!!!!
Nadie piensa en Jose Luis Lopez Vaquez...
No. He is an abaolutely beautiful man. Deep, rugged voice, gorgeous eyes, his nose has been broken many times, perfect lips, lovely hair. Perfect. Flawless. He is not a pretty boy. He is rugged and handsome. Look up young pics of him. He is NOT ugly!
thank you now i dont have to put it into words. ;)
HannChann I am so glad I'm not the only one who thinks so.
his voice and accent makes him sooo much more attractive
i work on the sound department in films, and it is very refreshing to hear an actor aknowledging that the actor is only one small part of a production. he is an amazing actor, and still humble and aware of how challenging hiw profession is while still being humbe about his success.
NOT JUST GORGEOUS but makes every role his own. ...an amazing actor!!!
He is a gifted actor and one of the only actors I know of who continues to better his trade through constant hard work and schooling. Bravo!

How do you learn another language fluently and effectively?
"How did you choose to be an actor?"
"How did I CHOOSE to be an actor..... Is that what you're asking me?"
"Call it"
Call what?
Anything, everything, nothing
What?
newbrood87
It's a reference to No Country For Old Men.
lol................lmao
Idk why this made me laugh so much xD
Javier, Robert Downey Jr, and Jeffery Dean Morgan need to do a movie together.... They look like they could be brothers.
So I'm not the only one who really wants to see this!! YES
his acting skills is pure brilliance. He has made Skyfall an unforgettable franchise ever (apart from his nemesis, Bond) :)
So strange hearing Anton Chegurh talk about acting school 😆 especially after just watching No Country!
i love his accent
I think the confusion lies in the part where he says "I don't care about planes, trains, etc, but I care about cars". As a Spanish speaker I think he meant to say that plains, trains, etc. don't scare him but cars do. He cares about his safety when getting into one.

Man, you said it. That dude brought me back watching those spaghetti westerns as a kid from the moment I saw him playing Anton. I would love to see him play a desperado again in a Western movie.
what a beautiful man!
he is humble too, omg he is amazing! Penelope is lucky! :)
I thought this too for a second but he says he 'cares' about cars the second time - as in he's worried by them, but not worried by planes, ships, other forms of transport.

I know this sounds cheesy as Hell, but I could listen to Javier's voice all day.
Well, if I have a chance to interview or seeing him in person and asking so many questions about the best picture of the year: No Country For All Men! YOU ROCK, JAVIER!
I like his modesty. More celebs should learn it.
Este hombre es muy guapo - This man's gorgeous
He is a truly great actor!

Es un actor inteligente y sensitivo. Un señor que sabe lo que hace y lo que dice.
Sin duda
He is such a good actor, if i ever write a book and someon want to make film based on it, I want him to play the main character...

He really is. Have you seen No Country For Old Men?

Great actor.
One of the most utterly relentless and frightening villians since Hannibal Lecter
Reminds me of Sunjay Dutt from the bollywood
This was on my homework
@NotYourAverageJoe321 how did you deduce this from just one sentence?! If I see an interview with Audrey Hepburn on TH-cam, I may also write something like "omg, she's SO beautiful!" - and that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate her as an outstanding actress.

lol, I'm 15, and believe he flogs any of the one direction boys in terms of attractiveness.
God bless him
Would have been? Did they already cast the actors for that movie? Seriously they need to get this guy for that role.
I'm the one who ask about his voice!
the reason I asked that because I was thinking his voice is kinda like Barry White.
Watching again this part, I'm convinced that he was not any dumb, He's able to recognize an amazing car even disliking cars. I myself hate bikes, but I know how amazing were the 60's Harley Davidson's. I myself like cars, but I'm stupidly afraid of them, I swore to myself that I will never drive one.
all right then I misunderstood, I didnt realise he used care instead of fear.

@ZPS51491 Yes you're right...but as far as accent , I think Kelly Mcdonald ( Carla Moss ) won that one . look up' the girl in the cafe.'

nothing compared to Robert Pattinson or Zac Efron whatever his name is.
PAPASITOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Its kinda weird seeing him like this... I mean, he was terrifying in "No country for old men"
@Masterchickens
