Antec has come a long way. At some point I felt they were going to be phased out from other competitors but look what they are doing! My last Antec purchase was some fans from 2006 lol. I'm considering this case now for my next build.
finally the bigger fans are not restricted. i hate how in many cases the 140s and above are always greatly restricted
With the fans on the inside-case side of the radiators, a few mounting slats on the opposite side of the radiator won't be an issue. Only an issue if you are going all air and are putting fans right up against them, as they can introduce some noise.
Damn you just made the best comment i ever seen on yt :P
Lian li typical example. even bought a Metalicgear Qube just for that reason :P
It's nice to see Antec step their game up and modernize, as someone who grew up with them.
Man, clean looking build and those bottom intake fans… glorious.
good timing this case was in the cart with the lian li. I am going the 140mm fan route; I like looking at more fans while I'm staring into space thinking about nothing.
I've seen some people drill two extra holes and put 3 x 140s on the side too
@@TheHarleyH I just saw that mod thanks!
Bought the case the day it showed up on Amazon. Loving the capabilities. Its an ARGB lovers dream
My next case for sure love the almost tool less design, construction and excellent airflow , lots of fans / radiators mount variates.
love Antec!!! This case is great! Hey Demetri how come you make so little videos compared to the other guys?
Just make it a tiny bit taller and longer so u can have up to 420 rads on each intake and choose if u want to put your PSU up or down. Also agree on making that bottom intake solution a standard everywhere! So close but no cigar ;)
YES they are back babyyy. 182B get's a successor in the household
It might not be the "first" Antec dual chamber case. I've had an Antec P50 Micro ATX Chassis since 2016 though it's not exactly like the current batch of dual chamber cases being marketed today.
I still like the P50, it's on its third CPU & motherboard upgrade.
I appreciate that the bottom grates open up to the full fans, but as you say the idea is half assed, since it doesn't apply to the other intakes/outakes that have the ugly and inefficient support bars. Everything else could be comparable to the market for the price but IMO the point of dual chamber is style and function maximized, and while this case has a +1 on run of the mill function, this case lacks style. the Chassis design is very derivative and the fans on every side are a mismatched hodpodge of size clearances so it is very hard to make them look good without resorting to smaller fans or fillers, ugly gaps, or forgoing the main sell, the 160s, in the first place.
Small-ish nitpick as well, top IO on a case that should obviously be on a desk is just screwing around for no reason, front facing IO is bare minimum, bottom IO is preferable, and left corner IO is ideal and that's something the O11s already have, why regress if you are going to copy is what I'm saying?
Not to mention the front USB C is still 10Gbs, like CMON, its one of the few things even the most premium cases don't have yet I assumed due to timing, but Mobos have surpassed 10Gbs USB C for a while now, when are cases going to catch up??
So the 'fix' here compared to other similar cases on the market is actually a reduction (so not a fix) of a problem that never bothered anyone? I'm glad he said that the sponsoring on this video was not a trap! 👀
Every time there's a new dual chamber he uses a similar title, like for the H6 flow.
It's not related to sponsors, it's just clickbait, lol
Not bad. Considering how many dual chamber cases there are on the market it is hard to stand out, Antec appears to have done a good job.
Nice review for mid-size dual chamber. I think I will stick to my Lian Li O11 DYNAMIC XL so I can fit 2x GPU in the case.
Let's be real this is basically an o11 clone. Like blatant clone.
I think this is one step from the perfect case. Imagine the possibility of having 140s all around.
Is support for 360 on three sides not enough?
It's interesting that they don't include extra clips. They do on the Asus Prime P201, which is a secret Antec case.
very very nice, i feel like if one thinks that the gap in the glass is that much of an issue im sure it can be "fixed" by creating a positive pressure airflow setup
They got it almost perfect with only one thing missing. Top I/O is fine for under table but I prefer the I/O on the bottom or front for Desk Top and if they made the Front I/O relocatable it would be 100%.
I have this case in white and using the new arctic freezer III white AIO. Amazing case
How's the noise on idle?
@@100500daniel mine did not come with fans. I have my own fans which are the lian li infinity fans.
I absolutely hear nothing. Dead silent
hey may i ask what motherboard are you using? i've had a bit of trouble mounting the cooler on top of my case, because it was too thick and i couldnt put in perfectly on my case it was hitting the side of my MB plastic covers from the VRM top left ( Gigabyte B550 AORUS PRO V2 ). my case is a budget one...ALPHAGEAR Oathkeeper ARGB. i want to know if there's enough room to mount in without problems. thanks
@@tnlsae ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS WiFi
@@tnlsae The Arctic freezer III is a big boy at 63mm thick so you need a case that can handle it. The Antec C8 has a top mount of 70mm so you have plenty of room.
I had to sell off my Asus GT502 because the Freeezer III would not fit in that case anywhere. I also have the Phanteks NV7 case and thats huge. the reason I dont use it is because the case is so big my custom cable mod cables wont fit so I lose all my White Cables.
Cool fans Antec!
My next case for my next pc build!!!
Where s the cte c750 in the compare chart . I remember u guys tested it . Im wondering about buying it cause of the all side dust filter
So happy to see a review of this case!! I've been planning to pick it up to upgrade my current System with some other small changes to my system.
In my caselabs I have a chamber for a 480 rad. Still waiting for another brand to even come close.
Funny how the Fractal Torrent still is on top even when compared with like Noctua CPU coolers vs AIO's ;)
No apparent spot to place a peg GPU support stand.
I bought the Fractal North (not the XL) in glass-charcoal. My PowerColor Hellhound 7900XTX is too long for the case with my choice of AIO. Top fans now intake with my Arctic LFII 280 front mounted with the front dust filter removed so the AIO would fit. A 240 is listed as top max size with 280 for the front. Arctic AIO is just that bit too thick. Thicker fans along with thicker radiators, while they can be more effective, pose fitment issues. Suggestion for case reviews: Show if the thicker fans/radiators fit or like that one case video of yours, you have to jury-rig the installation as I had to do.
I do like the look of both cases: the Fractal North and the Montech King 95. Will let you know how well, or not, the parts fit in the King 95.
I know they say they can do 3x 360mm rads but I want to see someone build with those radiators to see how easy or hard it is to route the tubing and fan clearance. I have a suspicion that you can't install 3 radiators at once. The top and side might be hard without soft tubing or using a 90d fitting if the end tank of the top radiator is toward the front of the case and not the rear and the side has its end tank on the top. The motherboard might be sitting too low so a bottom radiator with full-height fans might block the bottom of the motherboard and possibly the bottom PCIE slot.
Ah yes the fractal torrent is still on my mind to get. ❤
I'm always stoked when I see a case that has a SKU that doesn't include fans. A $30 increase for those fans is also a pretty good value.
Wonder how to temps will be like if the whole setup was air-cooled only with an extra 3x 120mm or 140mm fans mounted at the side intake. Need GN to do a review on this one.....
I have 3 140's on the side, no bottom or rear but 2 140's on the top radiator. I am getting 28C.
My next case ❤️
How come you didn't review the O11 Evo XL? I'm super curious how much better 140mm fans+420 aio galore would compare to the EVO/Vision :)
rocking the seiko 5 gmt
Pretty cool but I already bought an NV5 haha😅
Antec, wow haven't heard or seen anything from them in years.
make one video on Antec C5 (with 7 pre-installed fans) variant..
humble request :)
Luv my 011d xl
man its weird to me that at the same time matx and itx are becoming more popular regular atx cases are getting bigger. i like the look of these dual chamber cases but they are enormous for no reason. i would like to know if that corner separation changes the pressure regulation of the case on certain fan setups.
Nice to see some bigger fans than 140mm or pitty 120mm fans support (this is ridicules in 2024 to support only 120mm fans!) I'm still waiting with my O11 Air mini to get proper successor, instead another copycats.
HEAR ME OUT if you want to be unique, first gets my attention (manufacturer)
- Front ventilated panel (not necessary mesh)
- Dual chamber layout like here (still, there is nothing unique, perfect formula wasnt yet composed)
- 180 or 200mm FRONT fans support
- 140,180mm bottom fans support.
- Dust filters on every intake
- 140mm fan support on the back
- No crappy plastic fasteners for side and top panels (just use screws like O11 Air mini - its best and simplest solution that WONT BRAKE)
- Proper distance between bottom and floor level for proper intake from bottom.
- I/O PANEL ON THE FRONT, not on top. People put those cases on desk. Of someone want to put them on floor, he got 100 other O11 copycats to choose.
Why so big fans? Remember Torrent case? Even additional magnetic covers for top panel would be apreciated. If you will make case like this, it will outsell all those fishtanks, and airflow lowers will simply praise you for decades.
*1 just for having a toolbox. Good to see companies other than just Phanteks doing that. +2 for the separator. -1 for not allowing for 420mm rads. I can't see if the front panel connector is that atrocious combined this so +0. +0 For the 160mm fan options though. Nobody's really buying that size and the options for the fans are pretty slim too. I bet Antec's own 3-pack of Storm T3 is better than two 160 fans.
Looks like this case is really just for air cooling or at the most an AIO for the CPU, which kinda explains it not having removable brackets. Can't remember what problem this is fixing though. The separator is really the only thing worth talking about.

Thanks for the video. I shared this video and the temperature benchmark image on a community site(with this video address attached), so let me know if you care then I'll delete it.
the original o11 dynamic has PSU mounts at the top and the bottom
...I was going to go with the H9 Flow, but I think I've changed my mind.
same, so much chaper and it's beatiful as well
Will the case fit a thicker as we know Arctic liquid freezer iii on the top?
Sure will! I got the 280mm running on top and absolutely no issues. So I suspect the 360 should be perfect as well.
you can se in this video there is a lot of top clearance, it'll be fine.
Looks like metal sheet production is running out of both innovation and steam. We need to move on. If this is like "a fresh take on dual chamber", then I guess the time has come.
or you can just not buy it and get tf over it
@@megadeth8592 Sure. That is what losers do. When faced with total failure, they just give up, and tell everyone to "get tf over it". I just took another route.
Would only wished for the use of adjustable rails instead a bracket which will restrict anything more than 120mm fans.
I was wondering where you went!
Does anyone know if this will fit the arctic freezer 3 in the top 360mm version? because its a thicker rad than normal AIOs plus the fans, it wont fit into the NZXT h6 flow that I wanted... this seems a good alernative if it can take the 360mm freezer 3
I got this case in black, Its very nice for the 100 euro I paid. I would love for them to make a front mesh DLC tho.
Is there enough clearance (length) for 420mm radiators? Huge pet peeve of mine when case manufacturers accommodate 3x140mm fans without being able to fit 420mm rads. Also, they've seen how weird this looks with two 160mm fans, right? The fans look great themselves but don't fill the length of the case which just looks super awkward lol. I would have been happy if they made the case a bit longer, accommodating 3x160mm fans to fill the space which would look more aesthetically pleasing, and then could take eATX boards too. I feel like they missed the mark to be honest. This should have been two cases. One slightly smaller, where two 160mm fans would more cleanly fill the space, but not big enough for 3x140, and another larger case with 3x160 and eATX. Idk it just feels a bit awkward and off to me
Otherwise, I'm actually a little confused about what "dual chamber problem" this case "fixed"??? Sure it's a little different here and there from some other dual chamber cases, but nothing here is super innovative other than maybe the different fan mount brackets for the bottom intake. The NV7 and 9 have a lot more truly innovative and useful features than this tbh
Need a mesh front option
Found it funny when it was said the non fan non RGB version seems expensive, it's almost like that's on purpose to upsell the RGB fan version and make it seem better value lol.
i wish you could do more itx series . just recently i recieved the mcpure apollo S v3 after 3 years being scammed by dunecase. also the nr200p white honestly the 2v is more of downgrade than an upgrade imo
Luckily I have the tools needed to remove the panels on the case ;)
Love the case, make it with rgb next case. I dont care whar this case looks similar to
Very good job in the B roll with the hand gestures with editing timing. Pro lvl stuff right there!
I hate that there isn't a 6 fans included option, also this looks to have good clearance above the motherboard which so overlooked by reviewers for some reason.
Do you guys thinks black motherboard and gpu would look good in white cases?
please review gamdias Neso p1
Antec plz from this model to ITX case under 16L, its was sick🤯
TL;DR
Pros:
-Support for 160mm fans on top and bottom
-Accesibility
-Great build structure
-Price
Cons;
-no 420 support
Personally I rather mount my 140's on the bottom and 3*120 on the side. I think I'll grab this case bc the price is decent and the build quality seems surprisingly good
On a side note this isn't the first dual chamber design from Antec, that would be the P120 from 2019
I sure wish Antec would sell their F-Lux reverse flow fans in the United States.
sorry but Lian Li O11 air mini is the best if not the most legendary case for me personally, i have cooling airflow everywhere not even corsair which i was a simp had this until last year
I watched the whole video and I still dont know what they FIXED. Guess the sponso did affect your thoughts, would have been more surprised if it didn't to be honest.
And why not make it compatible with 140's all way around and give u the option to put the PSU up or down? Seems like they fixed nothing :P
Hello man ! I was wondering if you could make a video about the DeepCool Morpheus ! It looks very interesting with a lot of modularity, especially in dual chamber mode
50 dBA at 1500RMP?! that's aweful
Yeah wtf, I thought being a bigger fan its going to be much quieter.
@@vik1ng313 I think that it moves more air per RPM
@@samueldsouza8797It does of course, but its also pretty noisy. Or maybe I've just been using Noctua fans for too long...
Kind of "dual chamber" i'd like to see is where GPU and CPU are separated. Similar to what we see in ITX cases, but for ATX. It is very difficult to avoid one of those dumping their exhaust into the intake of the other.
Love dual chamber and Antec's design that gives so much flexibility for cooling. But I wish there's a version or kit to replace the glass panel with metal/plastic panel to cut the cost and seal the noise. For some user like me who place the PC underneath the table, there's really no need for glass panel. We just want professional cases.
Need a mesh and metal panel option. No more glass please it’s useless and heavy.
That's why you get a normal case? The only reason these cases exist were to add more glass so you can buy more RGB fans. I mean, we literally had to start making inverted fans just for these cases. (the O11 air exists but literally get a normal case)
A showcase without the glas? Why bother then? Just get the traditional layout. Antec offers a variant of their Performance 1 FT with solid panels for example.
@@ventilate4267 there aren’t any modern dual chambers without tons of glass. At least not ones with proper clearance that aren’t trash to build in. So no, I’ll keep asking them to make versions without the glass thank you!
@@Furcas Because dual chamber cases are only popular because of the glass? That allows you to see more of your build?
Not because it's actually better?
@@ventilate4267They are easier to build in by leaps and bounds. Good ones have more CPU clearance which is important for both GPUs and CPUs now with the new connectors not handling stress well. 170mm+ is usually reserved for dual chambers, or things like a couple NZXTs. Dual chamber does not mean "showcase" pc it just means it has two chambers. The footprint on the desk is different depending on model, and is useful for some things. As an example, an o11 air mini can fit in a 19" server rack on a tray when laid on its side. Great for HTPCs.
They've been popular for quite a while before the glass fad. We've even had horizontal variants. But most of them have flaws or extremely poor design choices that heavily limit parts choices. The closest you get is something like an o11 air mini, but even it has pretty limited PSU support given we're now looking at using 1kw or greater PSUs to handle things like 4090s. Those higher end PSUs are quite long with rare exceptions like the Seasonic Vertexes.
Then you get things like the o11 dynamic air which is a downgrade from previous versions in some ways -- like CPU clearance or needing an additional kit to have front mesh.
Secure during transport = TAPE
“1 or 2 strong fingers” ….sir my wife watches this channel
Wait... if it can fit three 140mm fans at the top, but it can't fit a 420mm radiator, then what's the point? That means you can only use three 140mm fans at the top if you're air cooling, but if you did that, you would eject air from the case before it reaches the air cooler. It also would've been better if the side intake fans could be 140mm, since they are the only ones in this case that are limited to 120mm.
every mid tower case is like that. 420 rads need around 450mm of space minimum, most need more. fans don't, you can have a 428mm top mount and use 3x140mm fans.
Isnt this basically the NZXT H9 flow?
yeah, 100$ cheaper
Any news on possible TR Phantom Spirit Evo cooler review?
-i'm not quite sure what to make of the test-charts of the GPU Load at --0:55-- and CPU Load at --7:25-- as it contains a test-system in the upper right that makes no sense and is so insanely unrelatable with todays hardware. a 8700k from 2017, a 2060 Super (an entry level gpu on top of that) from 2019, CPU and GPU test-software that no one uses. not that they might be bad, but no one has an idea of the power of the results. in comparison for example cinebench has scores which you can relate your test results to ontop of that you will also be certain it will put the cpu through the mud for thermals. So does the chart tell me that an up-to-date will run cooler or hotter? no one knows. i don't even remember what kinda wattages these old cpus and gpus put out into heat. it's just weird.-
edit: nvm i guess, after looking through some case review videos, cases get this stone age old system to test with on this channel. don't know exactly why, probably for consistency of the methodoligy. could use an update im my opinion though.
but I can't find the argb version anywherd
I can't either. I've reached out to antec multiple times as well over email and social media, and haven't heard anything back. I'm starting to suspect they're never releasing the argb version to buy....
I'd never buy those aquarium or boxy cases. They are absolutely too big for my desk and extremely inefficient in space distribution. They are also taking up the spot for possible improvement in regular case improvements. I really wanted the concept Morpheus from Deepcool to launch instead.
That dual chamber concept would only be interesting if it adopted the 1U atx psu standard size. A partnership with a PSU maker for newer more efficient and less noisy (due to tiny fan) psus to fit in such space would need to be made. It would also be just right to fit at least two, maybe up to 4 regular 3.5 hard drives behind the motherboard without increasing the thicknes of the case that much. If such design could end up being less than 25cms wide, than I'd consider buying one such case.

Q
so here's a 300 iq suggestion for a case suitable for those who don't like the asymmetrical "look at my pc from left side" . what if the cable management chamber was situated at the bottom of the case and the motherboard was positioned horizontally and the top had plenty of space for aio and a massive outlet fan like xbox series x ? wow
lol these early comment accounts
Here comes the " they copied the 011" comments
That gap in the glass panels makes it a no go. Inside will be covered in dust in no time, renders the fan filter moot.😮
Another aquarium case, how orginal, maybe someone will finally will figure out something original, deepcool had a cool concept with the morpheus but it still wasnt perfect and its expensive but still a good start
It just came out and it's still inferior to the Lian Li EVO RGB, which came out late last year.. These companies need to innovate instead of just copying Lian Li.
0:47 noting New i do that for years to my case with dremel.
Done same to my H9 flow and on rear fan.
Whoa cant wait for it to be cheap XD
Next year we sold just get brackets as a case cause at this point we just need that modularity to put AIOs around a mobo then just a random psu 200mm cage
So many comments talking about how it's better to not try to copy the competition and just try to innovate constantly. Are you guys crazy? You expect every manufacturer to only try to come up with a new design each year that no one has ever seen? You know how hard that is? Is it wrong to try to have your own take on a type of product that already exists?
Pleased with my Antec c8(BLACK no fans), manage to put my old corsair TX850 bronze watt non modular behind. a real octopussy (un till 3.1 psu be ready), pwm antec 10 fan splitter .one ssd, and all that with air duct. 3 140 HS 1800 PWM rpm be quiet 3 silent wings on side, (Important-There is no holes for third 140 fan but it stays very firm on two bottom holes). Three bottom be quit 140 1200 rpm, one on the back and one on roof. Minor nitpick, when you mount hard drive disc cage, screws are so tiny and fragile -can't hold cage with two drives in it so I used a pci-e gpu slot screws . Very nice case, firm, I'm very happy with my purchase.
Late? You forgot Cooler Master
after building 2 youtubergrade RGB gaming pc's
i wil no longer do that.
instead i wil go full sleeper build and save at least 400 euro for choosing non rgb stuf and a cheap case that i wil hide after i made it
the amount of extra money to put leds on everything is insane.
both builds, first thing i did was make a dim profile.
and all the airflow gibbergabber is mostly nonsense it just needs a simple breeze on the right spot and ALL fans do that
i have 9! corsair rbg fans and 3 more non rgb in the back, my pc would have worked and performed the same if i went with just 4 or 5 fans
Lol that coller is in wrong direction
I’m still waiting for you to tell us the difference..

Once again everything's beautiful except the GPU power cable. Why Nvidia and AMD and Intel...why? why?
Those big fans an the bottom look terrible 😂😂
H6 Flow is still the winner for me
Another "we have O11 at home" case. The only cool case I've seen recently is the MSI one with the curved corner glass.
So we are ignoring the torrent
