DIY: How to sew women's short for beginners | No pattern needed. | For Beginners.

To my beautiful and loyal ​subscribers, in today's videos, I have created easy-follow DIY shorts using a pair of pants that I already own and fit me comfortably. You can also go into your closet and find a nice pair of pants that fit you loosely and used them as your pattern for your paper bag shorts.
As many of you know by now, I am all about simple DIY project tutorials using what I already have for patterns. I am far from being a master seamstress, I just work with what I know and try and to learn as I go.
For this tutorial I used:
» 2.5yard cotton fabric
» Scissors
» Measuring tape to determine the correct clothing size
» Pins and/or fabric clips
» Ruler ( curved as well as a straight ruler)
Fabric recommendation
Depending on the material you use, you can create very different looks. Here are a few suggestions you might want to consider:
» Linen
Tips for sewing:
Wash your fabrics
» I would like to recommend you to prewash and iron your fabric before you start cutting it. Some fabrics may shrink up to five percent after their first wash.
Ironing
» Iron the seams after each step of sewing. This makes sewing easier and has neat results for your project.
REMEMBER ⚠️: Always iron delicate fabrics only with a protective ironing cloth - You don’t want to regret messing with your beautiful fabric.
» Remember Seam allowance when you are cutting.
